A nice park that is great for a walk around, however in the summer it can get rather busy. The park has good facilities ( cafe, skate park, play area for younger children etc.) and is a worthwhile visit for both young and old.

Plenty of shady trees, including lime trees in full blossom, a bridge over the river and a pleasure to walk through en route to town.

We only walked through the park during the evening as we were staying in Garfield Road nearby. It is lovely and green but with wide pathways so that there is plenty of room to walk. Loads of places to sit and look at the peaceful scenery. Great little park.

We found this park by accident and thought we were in a little hidden jewel tucked away from all the busyness of a seaside resort. I was lovely very calming and very well kept.

Nice relaxing walk through the well maintained gardens, lots of play areas for kids. It may be an idea to consider some drainage under railway bridge, rainfall led to a rather large pool of water which for families with buggies was inpassable.

Not as nice as previously was. Too much litter not as much planting. The skateboard park very popular and has been extended. More care needed overall.

What could be a very beautiful little area looks as if the local council may have neglected to spend any money keeping it litter free. The pond and fountain would be magnificent if just cleaned once in a while, lots of bird life around
