Went to see the new jersey boys, only a small theatre but excellent acoustics, if you sit right at the top you get a better sound quality and still are very close to the stage.

The show was bright and such fun from start to finish but oh what a great treat it was to hear the wonderful voice of Einer Vestmann as he sang the aria. I was moved to my soul and can't help feeling that he should be moving on to better things with a voice like his.

Historic Venue is a gem set in the lovely Palace Gardens with free parking close to the Theatre. Access to the theatre is up a difficult flight of stairs & the Loos are down an even more difficult flight & the seating is designed for thalimonids. Desp[ite these reservations the Show was great fun with dozens of brilliant costume changes... More

We visited the theatre to see a production of Agatha Christie's The Hollow. The production was wonderful and suited the theatre and location perfectly. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. A couple of minor points - the bar could do with more than one member of staff as people tend to arrive around the same time pre-show. Although there were... More

My wife and I went to see the Agatha Christie play '' THE HOLLOW '' at this lovely theatre. A first class production. All the actors and actresses gave an excellent performance with a few funny moments. We had excellent seats and I am sure where ever you sat you would have had a good view. During the interval over... More

We saw "The Hollow", based on an Agatha Christie novel. It was a very enjoyable who-done-it with comic touches, brilliantly acted. The theatre is very intimate with very good visibility from the front 15 or so rows, - slightly distant from further back, but steep raking so little obstruction from people in front. It has a nice community feel.

Saw Agatha Christie's The Hollow. An excellent evening with some good amateur acting. Although the best seats are the first couple of rows as they have more legroom.

In regard to the theatre... It is shocking. The bar sold out of date crisps (after best before) - they had next to no stock to check for best before so no excuses. The theatre basically allowed the guy in front of me to translate as I told a guy in the interval and no action was taken. Only good... More
