We went to see an absolutely amazing show at the Palace Theatre on Saturday 5 September whilst on holiday in the area. This was the second time we have visited this lovely traditional theatre, which was only around 15 minutes’ walk from our accommodation on the sea front. On arrival, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful members of... More

A small theatre saved and run by volunteer fund raisers who are doing an outstanding job ... hat's off to you all! We had booked for a night with "The New Jersey Boys", a tribute act to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. The show had a great mix of appropriate history, well performed numbers and humour thrown in for... More

Went to the palace theatre to see in the summertime. What a fantastic theatre. Had brilliant seats for a brilliant show. The theatre is quite small, but very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful, polit and friendly. Will definitely go again.

Went to see the new jersey boys, only a small theatre but excellent acoustics, if you sit right at the top you get a better sound quality and still are very close to the stage.

The show was bright and such fun from start to finish but oh what a great treat it was to hear the wonderful voice of Einer Vestmann as he sang the aria. I was moved to my soul and can't help feeling that he should be moving on to better things with a voice like his.

Historic Venue is a gem set in the lovely Palace Gardens with free parking close to the Theatre. Access to the theatre is up a difficult flight of stairs & the Loos are down an even more difficult flight & the seating is designed for thalimonids. Desp[ite these reservations the Show was great fun with dozens of brilliant costume changes... More

We visited the theatre to see a production of Agatha Christie's The Hollow. The production was wonderful and suited the theatre and location perfectly. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. A couple of minor points - the bar could do with more than one member of staff as people tend to arrive around the same time pre-show. Although there were... More

My wife and I went to see the Agatha Christie play '' THE HOLLOW '' at this lovely theatre. A first class production. All the actors and actresses gave an excellent performance with a few funny moments. We had excellent seats and I am sure where ever you sat you would have had a good view. During the interval over... More
