There used to be some lovely 2p machines on the pier – roll-a-2p, waterfalls, horse races, etc. Gone. The remaining tipping point machines now have huge piles of coins - but they hardly ever seem to pay out. There are rows of crane grabber machines but it’s far too hard to win anything. The pier has been changed very much... More

Visited again over Christmas and all the popular arcade games were there. They have made the coin drop machines really interesting by putting toys in them. Keeps the interest and suspense, and any child really likes to walk away with a prize (better than a little cash at that age)

Have not visited for a few years and like to let the kids play the penny fall type machines. Changed a few pounds up and then found a suitable looking machine. Was amazed to watch that the central coins didn't seem to move. On closer examination every machine was configured the same. Looked like a great one to play but... More

rather too many penny slot machines for us! A good quality tea shop would be welcome. And maybe some history of the pier.

The pier is in very nice condition,it's got a lovely view from the end of it, it's just a pity that it is like every other pier, the usual amusement arcade, the candy floss and hot dog stand.

A pier is a pier but the cafe at the entrance makes the best chips anywhere. In the summer don't miss BAND's bike night on Wednesday on the green near the pier, thousands of bikes to look at

The pier and the sea front is really good. They have put a lot of thought into the attraction for children , which is free/ At this time when people are finding it hard to entertain their children it is so good to see that the authorities at Paignton have put so much into this area.
