Looks boring is boring. All machines. Walk in and out of arcades. Filthy deck floor. Miserable looking staff.

This once lovely pier is now looking very tired and run down. Although the amusement arcade looked bright and inviting it was disappointing to see that the majority of the machines were the same. Gone are the days when you could fish off the pier and these days you can't even have a cigarette at the end of the pier.

Went there a few days ago, cheap to have a go at the claw machines, but you won't win a thing due to all the machines being rigged. Played on one specific machine well over 30 times and the claw kept on letting go of the prize. Also very noisy, no old/retro machines.

Paignton & it's pier is a favourite place of mine, photographically very pleasing at sunrise. The beach is very clean & well maintained in the summer months. The pier is in good condition & appears safe for families too. Next to the pier are large grassed areas ideal for picnics, play area & crazy golf a real family place to... More

We didn't visit the amusements. We stopped for tea and cake in the cafe at the entrance to the pier. Great views from the cafe. Easy parking on sea front

I have been visiting Paignton with family since I was a child and have very fond memories. Revisited this month with my fiancé and was surprised how much has changed. The trinket shops I used to enjoy browsing have now been turned into coffee shops and pubs. The pier has been massively modernised and now has so many ticket based... More
