Pier was dominated by a very long narrow arcade of slot machines etc. Easy to be parted from your money here- but you have to have a go, don't you? No clattering coin payouts - just paper tokens which you can exchange for prizes when you have collected millions!!

Personally, I didn't like having to go through the Amusement Arcade to get to the open area at the far end of the pier, but on the way back we did stop and watch the coins about to drop in the slot machines. It was good that there were clean toilets on the pier. A few more seats would have... More

The pier is ok for a quick wander road, and if you're a fan of arcades then these are the main attraction. There's no entry fee, which is a plus, but to get to the end of the pier you must walk through the arcades, which if you are after a simple stroll and want to avoid the noise, hustle... More

A great little pier with a fun variety of things to do. Amusements always popular with my wife and I. Our little boy thoroughly enjoyed walking to the end and back while peering through the gaps in the wood flooring down to the sea below. Refreshing to see a free pier still seeing as so many are switching to paid... More

Great old fashion fun mixed with new video games. We love coming here, we play on the 2p machine and spend loads of time here. It can be very noisy. Dogs, children, buggies and shopping are all well come. 💖

This is an authentic British pier, with lots of various forms of arcade amusements. Reminds me of the piers we used to go to as kids. Worth a visit.

I was warned off visiting Paignton by a friend, who predicted run down seaside resort, not so, we found Paignton seafront and particularly the pier very pleasant. The pier seems in good order, plenty of attractions for the children a very enjoyable walk.
