I visited Marwood Gardens and enjoyed the best afternoon tea in Devon! The gardens were spectacular and well kept.

Set in a stunningly landscaped valley, this is a beautifully designed plantman's garden with some outstanding blue hydrangas.

Peaceful and pretty gardens with plenty of places to rest and enjoy the views. The cafe was excellent for lunch - and cake!

Beautiful gardens and ponds. Very well kept. Lots of places to stop and sit and admire the surroundings. It also has a great tea room which serves delicious lunches. A little gem of a place.

Would be good to visit any time of year, but I think Spring would be stunning! Be aware that there are some quite steep bits if you are planning to see all the garden, but it is worth it. Lovely tea room, with simple but fresh salads sandwich and cakes.

Marwood Hill Gardens is a lovely place to visit. The views at various points around the garden are stunning. It was a hot day but there were plenty of benches and seats to enjoy the view whilst cooling down. Loved those colourful primulas that were everywhere and especially effective around the large pond. Just wish I'd bought some at the... More

Visited here after reading the glowing reviews on Tripadvisor and i'm so glad we did. Its off the beaten track and the car park is away from the entrance way. Parking is free by the way. At the entrance we had a warm welcome and given some information on the gardens. We started off by having a bite to eat... More

What a beautiful garden! We had such a lovely day it was amazing. We couldn't get over how well kept the whole place was, simply stunning. Our little boy also sat up on his own for the first time while hypnotised by the colourful flowers. Also great that we could enjoy such a lovely place with our dog too.

20 acre garden with a valley with a river running through which has been dammed to make attractive lakes. Steep slopes on two sides planted with a wide variety of trees and shrubs, with areas of flowering plants. Many varieties of camellias and rhododendrons which were coming to the end of their flowering season when we visited, but some were... More
