A wonderful house, with friendly guides in each room. The house has a very lived in feel as if the occupants will soon be returning. Good grounds and an interesting carriage museum and stables. A good day out.

Visited in December, so the house was decked out in it's Christmas finery, and jolly nice it looked as well. Had a splendid cream tea, then strolled up to the church, also bedecked with Christmas trees. The carriage museum has been updated since our last visit, and is very interesting. The latest addition, the parliament state coach, is royal bling... More

We visited Arlington Court for the first time yesterday. We had tickets booked for our children to see Father Christmas but we also wanted to look round the house and gardens. The children loved seeing Saint Nick, lovely setting and were seen on a one to one basis so made it that bit more special. We had a walk round... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Arlington Court. The house is interesting and has a warm feeling about it, it still feels like a home. Had lunch in the tea rooms. Then walked around the beautiful walled gardens and church. The carriage museum was also interesting - there are so many carriages with useful information about each one. Recommended for... More

Although the house and carriage museum are the main attractions and were both very interesting thanks to the enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers, the highlight of our visit was a magical walk through the grounds. The woodland looked wonderful in autumn colours, and to be able to stroll through drifts of fallen leaves and only hear birdsong and the wind through... More

We visited this house and Museum on the way to Watersmeet. The NT staff were very informative. There is a section under the house which is linked to a live feed that shows the bats in the rafters and were children/adults can draw bats, The museum is very good with a good variety of carriages and areas where children can...
