I believe the local theatres in North Devon are run and managed in an extremely good manor, with the likes of the local musical comedy society given the same exposure as the big artists they draw to the area like Lee Evans. Refurbished approx 5 years ago the theatre looks in good shape and is easily accessible via the town... More

Visited here with my sons whole school for free! This was a lovely idea and the children had a ball. The theatre is quite small, but it makes it more interactive with the performers. My first panto experience I must say was brilliant. All singing all dancing and really involved the audience. The theatre was clean, access to toilets easy... More

We have visited here four times since December, for the Pantomime, Avenue Q, Think Floyd and The Circus of Horrors. Our seats gave us an excellent view of all the shows, the shows were all excellent with good sound and performances were outstanding by all. Looking to visit again in the future.

This was our first visit here. We came to see the Show of Hands gig. We like the old theatres as they tend to have a good atmosphere to them and good acoustics. The Queens Theatre is no exception and in addition the seating is comfortable with sufficient leg space and an unobstructed view. The cafe is also pleasant and... More

Worth subscribing to see what's on here - some nice surprises and a great little cafe. Parking in Bear Street is the most convenient place - just a quick walk through to the main road.

Good central location, plenty of local parking / walking distance from train station. Great seating arrangement no craning neck to see around people in front!

For a small town , the Queen's Theatre puts on some interesting and varied productions. Compared to the ticket prices which we are used to paying, it is very reasonably priced

I've visited this theatre twice this week , on Sunday for the food festival and then on Thursday night to see a elephant man which was very good. I go to the theatre quite a lot in London and I liked the Queens , it's spacious and at 6 foot 2 I could fit in the seats and stretch my... More

When this theatre was re-designed a few years ago they had the pathetic idea of putting the bar in the foyer. It gets so overcrowded and because it is expensive many visit the pub opposite. The seating is tired and there is No Middle Aisle!

This is North Devon so obviously it isn't going to be super-wish as per London or other international cities. But it is nice and they do have a good range of shows. Recommended.
