Went to queens theatre barnstaple for the 1st time on thurs,26 june 2014,to see a local ( a.c.t ) production of grease. It was a very good show in a lovely theatre.Everyone seemed to have a good night. Will certainly visit again in the future, and book earlier and have seats in the dress circle instead of upper circle.( minor detail ).

Went here on Sunday 1st June to see Lee Mead in concert - The theatre was lovely - clean and tidy. The staff were very nice and polite. I sat in the stalls and the view was very good. We stayed at a hotel which was very close by and there were plenty of nice places to eat in the... More

We recently saw a live production at the Queens Theatre. The theatre, although a little tired was clean and tidy, the seats comfortable and the view unrestricted. We sat upstairs in the dress circle, but next time we will sit downstairs in the stalls as the view from upstairs is a bit distant.

Went here on Sunday 18 May 14 to see Rich Hall. He was very funny and the way he interacted with the audience was great as was the local song about Barnstaple & Bideford. The Theatre staff were great we sat upstairs so used the Gallery Bar. The girl who severed us was 'on the ball' asking if we'd like... More

I am pleased to say that I have used the theatre twice this month, both personally and professionally. Firstly I was tasked with arranging a conference day with a twist; the delegates wanted somewhere local but also somewhere different from the usual hotel meeting rooms we have historically used. I happened to stumble across the fact that the Queens Theatre... More

We have taken our family to the Queen's pantomime now for 17 years. Shows have got louder and louder emulating discos and rock concerts - which a pantomime is neither of these. This year the Sleeping Beauty sound was beyond endurance for the adults of our party, and others sitting near us. The singing, and often the words, of the... More

Went and saw the pantomime tonight with a party if 5. It was a truly great night only marred by the truly rude member of staff (mature lady behind the bar) who thinks civility doesn't exist, and that the customers are there only to provide her with a platform to be ignorant and rude from...

Good selection of shows put on and the theatre is available for hire. Off putting when attending evening performances as you have to battle your way through the foyer where everyone is standing because one of the bars is situated there. Off putting to push through so many people to sit down. Extra charge on top of ticket price for... More

A good selection of shows and an easy to get to location. The bar just inside the main entrance is a little bit of a pain but it does give the impression of being busy which is good!
