I visit the cinema rarely not for any other reason than due to the price it is treat. However a film comes along that has to be seen on the big screen. I like the fact you can book the seat you want and staff are usually friendly and enthusiastic about the film you are going to see. The day... More

Took my daughter to see how to train your dragon 2 recently. Bit disappointed with paying just under £6 for a 2 year old especially one that doesn't weigh enough to keeps the seats down (no fault of the cinema) so sat on my knee all the way through. I also found there was very little leg room and I'm... More

We visited this cinema because we were staying in the area and particularly wanted to go to an event (Monty Python Live) showing. I am glad the concert was so good because the cinema wasn't! On arrival we asked for directions to the toilets, the staff member told me where the ladies was but I had asked for the disabled... More

I am a fond film go-er and often visit this cinema at least once a month. I have never been amazed at the place nor have i been bitterly dissopointed. It does the job for the town!!!

the atmosphere and decor are what you would expect from a cinema. good viewing experience. the price of food is slightly too expensive and the limited staff means you can be queuing for a long time

I loved seeing the film however the hotdog left a bit to be desired, as stale bun, however that was my only complaint and given the friendly nature off the staff, had I mentioned it, it would have been remedied straight away

Went to see the Hobbit and as per usual it is so very uncomfortable, there is NO leg room and frequently you have to have an awkward conversation with people who are sat in your seat. It is expensive as far a cinemas go, although they do allow wine etc now which takes the edge off the experience.

My family and I go to the local cinema in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria about once a month and we have just gone to watch the latest Hobbit movie in 3D. We couldn't believe it when the main feature started and they dimmed some of the lights in the auditorium but we could still see clearly everything in the room. This caused... More

Went on Monday afternoon to watch the new hunger games at 12.30pm. There was myself and 3 friends, we bought our tickets, and snacks and went into the cinema screen. Snacks are overpriced but do half expect this in any cinema to be honest. Before we got past the adverts and trailers you could feel the cinema getting colder, and... More
