Live locally and still love it!

We live local and we still enjoy taking the kids on the cruise around the lake and we all enjoy it and have a brilliant day! Must do when in the lakes!

We have done most of the different cruises and they are all good value and the best way to see the lakes. Definitely recommend.

One of my favourite things to do in the lakes, it's always enjoyable, the staff are fantastic and you can have a laugh with them. Clean boats child and dog friendly, great whatever the weather, it's a very accommodating company so if you have a special request ring them before your journey they will always try and help. The views... More

A pleasant boat ride with regular trips from site to site. Staff were friendly and happy to give advice. Price was fair for the service.

We did the 45 minutes tour as we visited the other cities by car. It was fantastic! The views from the ship are incredible. The houses around the shore are stunning! It is also dog friendly and the staff is very friendly

We bought Freedom of the Lake tickets, combined with a trip on the Lakeside to Haverthwaite railway, online, the day before we used them, which seemed to save a few pounds. This gave us unlimited boat travel on the lake, which was brilliant, meaning we could get on and off, as required. The cruisers were well equipped and comfortable, as... More

We did a yellow cruise, which we combined with a trip on the steam railway- it cost us £15.50 each and it was a lovely way to see Lake Windermere and surrounding regions. The trip from Bowness to the Lakeside pier is about 40 min- the cruise boat was spacious and clean and had coffee and snack options on board.... More

We bought a very reasonably priced family ticket from Brockhole visitor centre for the red cruise. The service and advice we received were first class. We travelled to Ambleside first and spent a few hours here before catching the steamer to Bowness. We then caught the boat back to Brockhole. Each journey was accompanied by some very informative commentary about... More

We pre booked this trip as a day out whilst staying at the Low Wood Bay hotel. Parking is available close (500 yards) to the pier which is pay and display. We exchanged our voucher for tickets and quickly boarded "Tern" for the 45 minute trip south from Bowness to end of the lake. It was a cold day in... More
