A very wet and windy Sunday trip out on the boat leaving from Storrs' Hall wedding fayre. The staff on board were fantastic! Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. My friend has booked one of the boats for her wedding in October, and the staff were very helpful explaining all of the timings etc. Drinks on board were welcomed, particularly due... More

All things nautical are like a magnet to me so since we two intrepid couples were in the are we had to sample the delights of a lake cruise on Windermere. But, forget any romantic visions of the sun glinting of the water or jostling for a place in the sun on the top deck. No, it was absolutely pouring... More

The boat trip was comfortable and welcoming and we managed to get some time at the end to wander around town before getting the last cruise back!

Took an early boat to Ambleside from Bowness on a bright but cold Saturday morning. Crew very friendly, commentary interesting and the boat facilities in good order. After a bracing half hour on the top deck, we were a bit chilly when we arrived in Ambleside but the 15 minute walk into the town helped get the circulation going again.... More

It wouldn't be a trip to the lakes without doing a lake cruise. The weather was chilly but we went on the top deck for the start and the end of the cruise. We went on the shorter 'Islnds cruise' but there are other options including heading up to Ambleside. We enjoyed the cruise despite it being quite busy. The... More

If you have done many cruises in european cities , you will find this to be pretty similar. Not saying that it was bad in anyway. Cheaper this time of the year. Good to take the red cruise. You can visit Ambleside ( another small little hamlet on the lakes) , and come back in another cruise. Decent commentary and... More

We actually went on a couple of cruises and although the days were overcast the trips were great fun with the opportunity to see wonderful sights around the lake.

So glad we took my daughter on one of your tours! We had so much fun watching the world go by and the beautiful views. My daughter listened intently to the commentary and really enjoyed it. Perfect way to relax after a busy day of enjoying the area.

Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're delighted you and your daughter enjoyed our cruise so much and such a relaxing time. We really hope you visit us again one day- although similar, as the commentaries are personally delivered by our skippers, no two are exactly the same and there's always something new to learn!
