I have been on Windermere Lake cruises twice in the last 2 years; once from Bowness to Lakeside and the other Bowness to Ferry House. The vessles are clean and in a good condition, the boat to Lakeside is large.and.has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The view from the top deck is amazing. On the ferry house route a... More

Liked = The fact you can choise the various different types of ships and that the staff are very freindly both at the tickets offices and on the vessels . Great way of seeing the Lake and the hills . Good timetable so you are not "stranded" for hours at the other end. More

Very hot but the lake was calm and refreshing, a perfect day to set sail. It is a very popular trip with several boat companies to choose from. Car parking... More

Alot of our visitors enjoy the simple nostaglia of the steam train & the beautiful scenery of the Leven valley. There is also an engine shed crammed full of interesting... More

From the 3 different choices of cruise, my fiance and I picked the 45 minute cruise. We really enjoyed it, as we have wanted to go on one for a while. The weather was questionable when we arrived at the boat but as soon as we got on the sun came out which was just delightful. The time goes really... More
