28 Years of Sail N Dine. I offer 2 trips most days. The 10.30 to 1.30 buffet brunch sail for up to 8 people gives a hands on sailing experience with a sumptuous buffet lunch with wine priced from £35 per person. My jewel in the crown evening sail leaves at 6pm and is a taste of true yachting, eating and drinking out on the Lake! My 4 course dinner is cooked by me using the finest local produce cooked to your specification whilst the conversation (and wine)flows! I take up to 6 (Adults only) in the evening and the sail is priced from £55 per person including transport to and from the yacht within a 5 mile radius. You must of guessed by now that I am completely a one man band! I am receptionist, chauffeur, wine waiter, skipper, chef and washer upper! Check out my website and if you have any questions then please give me a call.

A very spontaneous and last minute decision to propose to my girlfriend on Lake Windermere. John stayed in regular contact and together we managed to fool my fiance into thinking that all the other customers he had booked in for that afternoon had cancelled. Not suspecting a thing, John left us alone at the front of the yacht and after... More

We did a morning sailing trip. With 2 other couples but made for a great trip as we all interacted with each other.. We had Perfect weather conditions and the boat was modern and clean. John the owner was so friendly welcoming and ensures everyone had a good time whilst learning about sailing and the local area. And even having... More

We've just experienced one of the most fantastic evenings. John was the perfect host to a perfect evening! We'd definitely recommend this anyone visiting Windermere. We had a brilliant laugh with 2 couples from Liverpool who were celebrating a birthday. Thanks John for a perfect night.

A great time was had by all. John the Captain of the Sailing boat was great helpful educational and a great host. My wife and I had the boat to ourselves for our 30th wedding anniversary, we even got a chance to navigate the boat and what a thrill that was (for me). Then we tied up in a bay... More

This is the second time we have taken friends on a trip out on Windermere with John.... Just as good second time around. Great welcome on board, good tour around the lake and then a great meal. John is a great host and really makes you feel relaxed. We will go back again!!

My Husband arranged our Sail n Dine evening for my Birthday and it was a real treat that we both fully enjoyed from start to finish. John was very informative regarding local information whilst sailing out. Once the anchor was dropped John began to prepare our food after getting drinks of our choice on deck. The food was prepared to... More

John was really helpful and friendly during the booking process which gave us confidence it would be a great experience on the day. We wasn't wrong. John was a fantastic host, very chatty and informative whilst we was cruising around Windermere, he knew a great spot to watch the sun go down which all went towards making it such a... More

Thoroughly enjoyed a recent daytime trip with John pointing out interesting local properties and their owners. Moored up towards the end of the 2 hour trip and enjoyed a delicious cold buffet with drinks conjured up in the galley by the very likeable John. A great way to spend a few hours within the intimacy of a small group rather... More

I recently booked the Brunch Sail and Dine for a friends birthday as a surprise and we had a fantastic time. John is an amazing host and made us feel welcome on his yacht. When we started out it was raining but after awhile it stopped and my friend had a sailing lesson from John which she enjoyed and the... More
