28 Years of Sail N Dine. I offer 2 trips most days. The 10.30 to 1.30 buffet brunch sail for up to 8 people gives a hands on sailing experience with a sumptuous buffet lunch with wine priced from £35 per person. My jewel in the crown evening sail leaves at 6pm and is a taste of true yachting, eating and drinking out on the Lake! My 4 course dinner is cooked by me using the finest local produce cooked to your specification whilst the conversation (and wine)flows! I take up to 6 (Adults only) in the evening and the sail is priced from £55 per person including transport to and from the yacht within a 5 mile radius. You must of guessed by now that I am completely a one man band! I am receptionist, chauffeur, wine waiter, skipper, chef and washer upper! Check out my website and if you have any questions then please give me a call.

Super sunny evening on the boat with John with parents and good friends in July. Lovely food and entertaining host. Great value. We enjoyed taking their turns at the wheel sailing down the Lake from Bowness past Belle Isle looking at the beautiful Lakeland houses along the shore. Comfortable both on deck and inside sitting down to dinner moored in... More

A fantastic experience for my Dad's 75th birthday treat! We had an 11 year old and 83 year old in our party of 6 and we all got a turn at driving the boat. John is the perfect host, welcoming from the start and instantly remembered everyone's name. He explained the technicalities of sailing; told us about the local geography,... More

Went for an evening sail n dine with my wife and met John the host, and four American tourists and had the most enjoyable evening for a long while. The food was excellent, considering the galley wasn't the biggest I've seen. The wine flowed and was followed by a very nice Port. We cannot recommend this highly enough, well worth... More

My wife an I along with four friends went sailing with John aboard Maddie Too on the 18th July. John made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked down the jetty. He is very relaxed and let us sail the yacht for pretty much the whole trip. He cooked a fantastic meal for the 6 of us and... More

We did sail and dine as part of my sister's hen do. John was the perfect host - so friendly and funny and a great cook! The whole experience was so exciting and being able to drive the boat was a brilliant fun. It's the perfect way to spend a morning in Windermere, but dropping anchor to enjoy a beautiful... More

The experience of sailing on Lake Windermere with an excellent host and good company was very enjoyable once again. We were wined and dined by John to a very high standard of which many restaurants would be justifiably envious.
