Visited after a number of people had recommended, I'm glad I did as it exceeded expectations!. Fantastic range of beers on tap almost too many, however that's hardly a bad thing. I've tried number of lymestone beers before however I noticed they have a number of Belgium beers very nice. The pub is fairly small it almost feels like you... More

Have been to this pub many times since it opened in 2013. There is always a great welcome from the bar staff and a welcoming homely feel about the place that makes me want to go back. A good selection of Lymestone beers as well as guest beers and ciders makes visiting the Lymestone a must. Don't bring the car... More

We stopped off here as usual on our route from London to Lockerbie. This Tap House from the Lymestone Brewery in Stone is exceptional. Their own handpulls (6) and guest beers, lager and ciders provide a great choice. Run by team of youngsters, who are efficient, knowledgeable and happy at their work, its a pleasure to enjoy a pint in... More

We spent an evening in this place with friends and found the atmosphere to be relaxed and more than welcoming. The comfy leather settee was a very nice addition and a great evening was had by all!!! Would highly recommend and will be going back for more of the same

Very nice and friendly pub. Great atmosphere and a brilliant selection of real ale. I enjoyed one of the "Lyme stone brewery" beers so much I've just gone and bought one to drink at home. I'll definitely be visiting again next time I'm in Newcastle.

Last Saturday afternoon my wife and I and couple of friends (all 40 something) decided to spend 3 or 4 hours sitting in bar. Lymestone was perfect, leather sofas on which to relax and a wide choice of real ale to enjoy (and wine for the ladies). It reminds me of how "pubs" used to be. Don't really want to... More
