Brought my 7 year old as he loves Mazes, we actually got lost inside & he thought this was awesome!! The walk around the site was good for kids, just wish like any place, if things get broken it would be nice if they could fix them (the attractions) didn't do the ice skating as it was very busy All... After visiting the evening "Christmas" experience approximately 3 years ago, we visited again as Senior Citizens to see if any changes had occurred. We found the basic concept remained although there had been a number of improvements and an increase in the individual attractions. The attraction was quite busy and we opted for the basic walk around the illuminated "forest... More

I found the park by accident when I was looking to do something Christmassy with our little boy (aged 3) while we were in York over night so we stopped on our way home expecting to fill a couple of hours. We left 5 hours later!!! The Enchanted Forest was amazing, I'm not sure who had more fun, our son... More

We went at Christmas. We've looked a few years but never went. Price put us off but it was actually only 9 pounds each and not the 30 I thought. What a fantastic place. The staff are informative lovely and the dancing elf girl made my 3 year old day. She danced with my little girl who was amazed and... More

We stayed at Stockeld Park and ate in the restaurant which was delightful. We also had fun on the outdoor skating rink and then headed for the Nordic ski area. We also did the maze!

Visited with my son who is almost 12 and had a great day. We had fun on the outdoor ice skating rink and then headed for the Nordic ski trail, which heads through the enchanted forest. The forest is illuminated by fairy lights and magical figurines. We found our way through the maze and enjoyed hot food and hot chocolate... More

Visited on New Years Day. Park opened at 1pm, this was the first issue. The main gate wasn't opened until exactly 1pm and by that point there must have been 20+ cars parked waiting on the main road, the not so wide main road. It would have been much more sensible to open the gate, allow cars to park but... More

So, we only did the maze but it was fun. £8 per adult, and we accidentally wizzed through it, but we turned round and did some exploring. Covered the entire maze in about an hour including getting lost a couple of times. Wasn't too busy but it was raining. Doubt it would be as good if really busy.
