Well worth the visit. Council parking is approx £5 for up to 4 hours and entrance fee is £6 so not too expensive. Lots to and see, easily spend 2-3 hours here. Didn't eat in the restaurant but the food did look nice. More

There is even a spooky tunnel which adds a bit of fun to the whole experience, even at 27 years old... More

There's loads to see and explore. Active kids will love the miles of corridors and the volunteers have invested hours of time creating lots of different experiences around the fort. Older folk will have their memories stirred by memorabilia from a variety of eras. More

I visited Weymouth last October, and during a walk around the harbour, came to the fort. It was out of season and closed, but it looked interesting so I made a mental note to visit it if we were in the area again. I visited on my way to Cornwall, and what a great diversion it turned out to be.... More
