This cafe has only been open for a few days but already customers have been treated to a fresh and appetising menu. The chilli was spicy and warming on a day when the sea mist had rolled in and caused us to retreat indoors. On a second visit the broccoli and stilton soup accompanied by mini bread loaves was full... More

We found the Fort by accident - it was a lovely walk from the harbor through the park (about 15 minutes). If you are looking for an interesting view into WW2 history, with underground tunnels, this is a treat. The views of Weymouth beach, the harbor and Portland Beach are beautiful.

The Fort is packed with history all laid out in an excellent format. We will come back again when we are next in Weymouth as we had left it a bit late in the day to visit and just hadn't expected such comprehensive detail and so much to see and take in. Brilliant place, and what a location!

We didn't expect there to be much to do when we turned up, there was a large group of school children going in before we did so we decided to take a walk around the outside of the fort first, the views were amazing! So peaceful! We were given a years membership so might return! Would recommend.

Pretty scenery. Calm surrounding sea. Nice gardens surround it. Tame squirrels will eat monkey nuts from your hand. The Fort itself is boring, you can’t get in.

My family and I being residents of Weymouth visit the Nothe Fort regularly. It is like the Tardis and hides many gems within its walls and tunnels. However today sees new the start of a new era. Jill and her gang of merry staff have opened a brand new café, with new state of the art kitchen and menu. The... More

This is an interesting visit for my wife & I - It has a charitable status & is ran by volunteers who do the best with the funds available. It's been somewhat restored from a semi derelict state - there are many displays covering all aspects of the site's development. Disabled access is all ok. If history interests you -... More
