At least once a month we go to RSPB hut and my husband my grandson Daniel who is 2 years old and myself have a drink and either a ploughmans or Apple cake and cream very reasonably priced and yummy. There is plenty of little activities for toddlers and a huge glass window where they can watch the birds swimming... More

We are frequent visitors and love this place at all times of the year. Friendly and welcoming, somebody is usually on hand to help with tricky bird identifications or you can just enjoy a pleasant walk around the Lake while the madness of the Weymouth traffic system surrounds you. Good snacks available too.

Such a variety of birds here. We went on a Bat walk which was excellent. Learnt so much about bats and then out with the bat detectors. A wonderful way to spend an evening there. Dan is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

Little gem in a large seaside town, with quite a variety of birdlife to be seen. Especially in the Spring and early Summer

Peaceful and tranquil with plenty of information about the reserve at various points. Had a good cup of tea in the cafe. Good value.

One of my very favourite places in Weymouth. My mum used to bring me here as a child and we would feed the ducks and go for a walk. Then pop across the road and get a Mcflurry from nearby Maccy D's. Great access by Train and large Car park also available. These days I love going here on dates.... More

Really peaceful and tranquil. Lovely to see the birds and wildlife in its natural habitat. You would never think you were so close to a busy seaside town. Really well looked after, the RSPB are doing a great job here.
