Visitor centre with café and toilet, buy a bag of duck food for £1 (this is a large bag so more then enough to share with family members), ducks very tame - they eat it out of your hands! lovely time reliving childhood days of feeding the ducks :-)

Went for a walk there twice, bought duck food at the visitor centre (also excellent lemon drizzle cake!). It's right in the middle of Weymouth between the north and south and is a little oasis of calm. Reeds were cut to allow a view of the wetland birds. We saw a number of little birds which were either reed or... More

Very windy weekend so took a walk through the reserve. High reed beds sheltered us most of the way to the North hide where we saw lots of interesting birds including a Harris Hawk.

My children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were amazing - really friendly answering a million questions asked by my children. We spent some time pond dipping then finished by feeding the ducks.

My partner and myself had a drink whilst watching the birds, then bought some food from the shop to feed them.

Radipole Lake is an ideal place to watch loads of different species of birds whilst they swim around the rushes. There are platforms which extend out into the lake where you can sit and watch. Also there is the most adorable coffee house in the corner of the car park. We regularly go there to have a coffee or hot... More

Very acceptable if you are in Weymouth without your own transport as it's only a short way from the centre of town. It has good paths through the marsh and reedbeds and lots of potential for spotting lots of birds and wildfowl
