Four years ago we went on The Hardy Country tour and yesterday we went on The Purbeck Hills tour. Words can't express the beauty of Dorset. Gary your tour guide provides an excellent commentary that is both informative and fun. At mid point Gary breaks out a lovely cake made by his wife and you enjoy a cup of tea... More

If like us, you enjoy travelling off the beaten track to discover new places, then this is definitely the tour for you. 4 of us joined Gary for the tour of Purbeck on a glorious day in Dorset and found ourselves wanting more after the trip. We started with pick up by a land rover at our accomodation and Gary... More

The afternoon Purbeck Tour was a great afternoon spent with Gary our guide and very careful driver. He is very knowledgeable and Friendly, the scenery in the Purbeck is out of this world especially where Gary has access to - views to die for, you would never see from your own cars. The comfort break for homemade cake and hot... More

Took the Isle of Purbeck tour. There were six of us ranging in age from 7-77. We all enjoyed the four hours. The jeep was spacious and comfortable, our host was charming and knowledgable and full of funny stories. We learnt lots about a side of Dorset you don't usually see ( did you know about the hidden oil field?).... More

I brought my mum on the Purbeck hills for a birthday present, and she absolutely loved it. The guide (Gary) was charming and informative, he had a story for every question and was more than happy to listen to our stories, too. The views were stunning. It's not the last time you'll be seeing us, Gary!

The views are superb looking around Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour. Inside the Fort visitors can see the local history of activities controlled from the Fort both in War and peacetime.

What a fantastic adventure. Being local to the area, we thought we knew Purbeck pretty well. But with Gary's special access permissions we saw places and views we never knew existed. Picnic was amazing. Highly recommended. You should go.

We had a wonderful day in Purbeck Hills and southwest Dorset. Gary is a born guide who knows the flora and fauna like a naturalist and the local history both from the local perspective and from a historian's perspective. This was an unforgettable day. I hope to have the chance to join a Jurassic Safari again!

A superb afternoon seeing lots of the Dorset countryside that you just would not see under your own steam. Gary is an excellent, friendly guide knowing lots of local history as well as detailed knowledge of the local wildlife and fauna - of which we saw plenty despite it being well into October. The safari lasted four hours but time... More
