Lovely grounds but more suited to adults than children. Food in small café was good value. Small weddings could fit in here on a nice day!

Beautiful tranquill garden with many ponds with water lilies. Lilies need sun to open so visit in the afternoon of a sunny day.

Four of us visited, one being an expert in pond keeping. First thing we noticed as we arrived was that hanging baskets at entrance had been allowed to die. Not a good advert. I am disabled and arrived at reception on a scooter but had to ask if carers go free. Was asked to produce proof. I thought she meant... More

Even though we visited a bit late in the year and the sun shone a bit during our visit we saw quite a few blooms of various lily's. I think they have missed a trick by not having many fish albeit Goldfish, Golden Rudd and Golden Tench in the ponds whereas Koi would damage the lily's. But a most enjoyable... More

One of a number of surprising oasis found in the town of Weymouth. The garden is a haven for wildlife with birds singing, dragonflies across the ponds and myriad of fish in the ponds, some quite big carp to, and even domestic ducks. The main stars of these gardens are the lilies, for that indeed was the original purpose of... More

We visited on a sunny day in September but few of the lilies were open. Apart from the lilies there is little else to see and there is an air of the place being rather tired. For the admission price of £8.50 each I was expecting more. There are many better gardens to visit!

I visited on my own with only a limited time to spare. I paid £9:00 as an OAP (no concessions...why not?) as I didn't have much cash on me, so I paid an extra 50p for using my debit card, this seems a bit harsh. It is a peaceful place to wander around, but in all honesty other than man... More

Spent a lovely afternoon here with my husband, 10 year old son and elderly parents. It was absolutely amazing what has been achieved with an old clay quarry! The series of ponds were truly stunning, with an amazing variety of water lilies. A very peaceful setting to while away a sunny afternoon and lots of dragon flies to be seen.... More

The water gardens are beautiful and worth the reasonable entrance fee. The water lilies and woodland was very tranquil with lots of places to sit and soak up the views along the way.
