We made a mistake of going at 3pm on a damp afternoon. We were a little taken aback at the entrance cost, we felt it a little high for what you actually got to see, a few ponds and some water Lillie's. Unfortunately the rain made an appearance and we walked around looking for shelter. There was the odd lily... More

While on holiday we decided to visit the water gardens as we had picked up a leaflet and it looked stunning. So we were disappointed when we arrived. The first couple of ponds with the bridges are beautiful but as you go further round the other ponds are quite neglected, full of weed etc and nothing to really see. Such... More

Really worth a visit, we arrived at 10am and enjoyed coffee first then then went into the water gardens, very peaceful and saw so many different water lilies, one thing I would advise is that remember that water lilies go to sleep at night (close up) so best to visit after lunch to see them at their best.

Overpriced and disappointing. Not enough on display and no real variation just more of the same from beginning to end.

although I can see the attraction for "artists" it was not value for money one pond with lillies looked lovely, but few were very weedy and murky. Felt let down after what I thought would be a beautiful attraction.

If you love waterlilies, this place will be a must-see. So if that's what you're after, you won't be disappointed - it's beautiful. However, it's not very big, so it's best to take your time soaking in the views from the well-placed seats around the ponds. The two ponds beyond the Monet bridge are unremarkable compared to the main feature... More

Lovely gardens to walk around. Plenty of water lilies to see. We had two very friendly cats guiding us around the grounds....easy walk..no hills or obstructions Well signposted route with plenty of benches to take a break on. Super restaurant and plant sales. Would like to have seen more fish though, only found some tiddlers !

Worth a visit. Reasonably priced. Lovely walk around the various lakes. We went in August and the water lilies were all out in flower so a really good time of year to go. Ate in the cafe and had a very nice sandwich. Generous fillings and reasonably priced.

Nice place for a cup of tea and a piece of cake, with beautiful views of the gardens and lake. Haven't had much else there so cannot comment.
