Yes of course it is a beautiful building but it also a lovely church which feels comfortable while reminding you of its true purpose for many hundreds of years. Really lovely welcomers giving you advice and making you feel even more at home.

I love Beverley, it's a really lovely town to visit for the day. Great pubs and good restaurants too. The minster is the place to visit though. Very impressive and absolutely lovely inside. I was lucky that the choir were practicing on the day I visited, it was really nice. Beverley and the minster are well worth a visit.

Extremely noisy, even Minster volunteers were talking.loudly. Did not have the reverance one would expect. Ladies in shop were talking VERY personally, that I felt embarrassed and left without a purchase.

Gorgeous, peaceful surroundings. We arrived just as a wedding had finished and the organ was still playing the wedding march. We were approached by a steward who handed us a free map and guide to the Minster, which helped us find the important parts. Free entry so we'll definitely be visiting again.

Typical of Yorkshire - very friendly Welcomers greet you as you enter this beautiful building. The Minster is amazingly large for a market town and is so beautifully kept. I was lucky enough to visit on a Saturday when there was lunch available in the Parish Hall (happens once a month) so didn't have to walk round looking for somewhere... More

Here is a Minster which is overshadowed by York but is just as interesting and beautiful in the quiet town of Beverley. Free to enter, (£3 to take photos), manned by knowledgeable volunteers and with a reasonable gift shop and the possibility of a cup of (FairTrade) tea or coffee it was a lovely, uplifting experience to visit.

This is a living Church but you are surrounded by so much history. My husband was looking for a taxi to return to our Hotel but was given a lift by one of the staff, for which we left an extra donation. As well as being a well used Minster there were quiet areas for prayer.
