Before my visit I was told that the Beverly Minster was one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Europe and I can hardly disagree. No matter how you get into Beverly, you will see this beautiful Church standing tall. I did a Combined tour that covers the Roof Tour and The Ground Tour and it was worth every minute... More

This large church has a lot of interesting things to see, probably an idea to make more than one visit to take it all in. There is no cafe, but tea and coffee are available next to the shop for £1 donation. The free wifi is good. We arrived in time to join a tour of the roof. Our guide... More

Unlike most buildings of this ilk, this one is free to walk around with only guided tours or photo permits costing anything (the latter a mere £3). It's a very impressive building with lots to see. Recommended.

lovely large cathedral type building - loved the warmth of the stonework - almost a golden glow. we took in choral evensong on the Sunday and appreciated an example of what a building like this is designed for - to be filled with beauty and sound.

Fabulous gothic church, with many interesting touches. Kids have fun counting the hidden mice carved into one of the chapels. Guest shop is build around a stone sarcophagus. Oddly, admission is free, but they charge you money to take pictures!

Return visit, time to look around this time as the Minster was fairly quiet. In some ways more impressive than York Minster, fantastic stained glass windows. Friendly helpers on hand.

We had a day out in the lovely market town of Beverly and visited the Minster. Beautiful structure and well kept.

What a feat of construction, absolutely stunning place to be. I didn't have time to do any of the tours which is a shame so my advice would be to give yourself time. There are tours around the Minster itself and then one in the roof. Be aware if you want to take pictures inside, you do have to pay... More
