I recently attended a Thai cooking course at this venue and had a great day. The school is very well equipped, all the ingredients are supplied, and the standard of tuition is very high. The teaching was unhurried with demonstrations beforehand of everything we were going to do. Every step was explained clearly and plenty of tips provided to make... More

My son had his second visit to the cookery school on March 28th and had a great time. The school is very clean and welcoming and the children are challenged. The mums helped out at the end to make the lovely baskets that the children brought their baking home in. Lovely Easter treats! Would recommend this to everyone.

Had a great time on the 'use your loaf' course on 18th April 2015. The school itself is impressive, all new equipment with tranquil surroundings. Reception we very welcoming with tea & cakes even before we start!. The course was excellent, the staff were on top form, very knowledgeable yet made you feel relaxed and in control. Being a small-ish... More

Yesterday I attended the Italian cookery course, a present from friends for my birthday in November. To be honest, I had wanted to do the Tapas course but by the time I got around to booking, it was full . However, the Italian course was by no means a "second best". Learning how to joint a chicken was useful and... More

My 10yr old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the baking day. She found the class alittle bit rushed and under pressure due the amount of technical items they made, I on the other hand found this value for money and happy that she was challenged. My daughter made creme egg muffins, cheese straws, rice crispy chocolate easter egg and nut biscuits all... More

We attended the Yorkshire Born and Bred course on 7th February 2015. The course was taken by Ali who was an excellent tutor - calm, clear and entertaining in her presentation. The course was to promote your Yorkshire ingredients whilst teaching skills we were a group of eight mixed ability cooks so that was no mean task! We were told... More

This course was bought as a Christmas present and not being anything of a cook, I was a little nervous. The course was Easy Entertaining, Modern British. Superb kitchen, excellent tutor and extremely proud that with little previous skill I was able to produce smoked salmon soufflés, lamb shank and choux pastries. The school has numerous courses and I will... More

I have used this cookery school on a number of occasions and bought a number of vouchers as presents and always found it to be very good. However, my 11 year old son was booked on the children's course and had a bout of sickness the day before he was due to go on the course and I was advised... More
