nice period building, even better when they were having a craft fair, bought some nice home made cakes, chutneys and rose veal

We were staying in Poundstock and saw that this ancient Gildhouse (thats how they spell it) was open on a Wednesday from 10am to 4pm. So, after breakfast a stroll down the flower banked road brought us to this splendidly restored piece of history. We visited the Gildhouse and church which is a two minute drive from Widemouth Bay because we love old churches, this one is the third oldest in the country!
