The children enjoyed the easier of the two tree top routes. They did it several the allocated hour. The instructors were friendly and helpful The cafe was excellent with top cake. A good few hours out

The Cafe at the Upr Lake is very good. We had a small breakfast each which was excellent. Cycled around the Upr Lake about 3 miles which was nice. We didn't use the Water Centre itself so cannot comment

We had a trip to Tamar lakes, a lovely, pleasant area and sat in the sun for a while. We called in the café and was delighted with our Quiche and salad at a price which we thought was far too little for such good home made food. We followed that with a delicious moist carrot cake. Good atmosphere and... More

Great place for a walk with an energetic family and dogs. The cafe does nice tea and cake too, though you need to check the opening times

Had a few fantastic walks around the lake. Even went to the watersports open day, but they had underestimated the number of visitors, and couldn't fit us in on tryouts of anything and were a bit disorganised really. But still had a load of fun.

We have been to most of the reservoirs in the south west and I must say this one is probably the least appealing! After parking in the vastly overpriced car park, I was quite surprised that the coffee shop was closed considering the large amount of people out there on a sunny Sunday afternoon! I know it is winter but... More

The Lake, which is a reservoir, is set amongst very beautiful countryside. Surrounding the lake is a cinder path suitable for most walkers of any age starts across the dam and then continues for about 4 miles. There is so much to watch or join in. Apart from the usual wildlife the lake is popular with coarse fishermen. On the... More

A peaceful and relaxing place. Plenty of walk and cycle options. There are paths and good acess for these, and they vary in distance from a short walk from the car park to a full round trip. Clean tidy and beautiful. Nice coffee shop as well.
