Went today with myself, and children aged 18 and 12 year old participating and my wife watching. We had a fantastic day out ! The hosts/instructors Pete and Karen were really welcoming and so accommodating and the instruction and advice given was fantastic. Once we were up to speed with the basics, we were taken out on our adventure within... More

Me and my little lad had a fantastic afternoon thanks to a brilliant husband and wife team. My son is quite young for this sort of activity (I won't say how young as to give them a chance at using there own discretion with others) but has had quite a bit of archery experience in the past (Warwick Castle/Sherwood Forest... Visited with my wife, and I, yesterday. Fantastic fun, great instruction and instructors, 3hrs of entertainment and surprisingly enjoyable. Have been looking for more places to visit since we got home... a must!!! :)

Fantastic mornings archery. Target practice to get your eye in, then off into to woods to hunt the foam animals. Pete and Karen were brilliant instructors, highly recommended.

We (daughter aged 12, son aged 9, and myself) had a wonderful time trying our hand at being Hawkeye and Katniss. Very friendly and knowledgeable team, fantastic tuition and a great way to spend the afternoon.

After trying archery at places like centre parcs, we expected some of the same. How wrong!! The centre is down a long gravel road, well off the beaten track. It's a delight to find the secluded bowl type area surrounded by woods. After a short introduction for safety, we commenced target shooting. After a hour and many arrows fired, we... More

what a wonderful afternoon we had, booked for my son (11) and myself, was joined by another family of 4. Excellent instructions for beginners, fun, informative and well worth the £20 each for 3.5 hours of education about the local area and history, and the fabulous archery, targets first, a cup of tea/water and then off into the wood to... We recently visited with 3 kids age 9-12 and had a great time. Peter and Karen are expert archers who have managed to condense the finer points of archery for beginners into 3 hours. We spent the first hour practising on traditional bullseye style targets, then walked around the woodland glades shooting animals (rubber ones). We all had a decent... More
