We booked up the day before for two adults, two children(14 & 9), not really knowing what to expect. Peter and his wife were very welcoming and brilliant at coaching us, as we were inexperienced. After an hour of target shooting under Peters expert eye, we had a short break for tea/coffee/squash. They then took us around the woods, shooting... More

Had a great morning, two adults and three children (8,7,7), would definately go back next time we re in Bude. We first learnt the basic shooting at targets and then had a woodland walk around the site with shooting practise at different targets. The children, particularly the boys had really wanted to try archery, so were really excited and werent... More

I cannot rate this highly enough. So glad we found Red Elk Archery whilst on our holiday.I'm not normally one for leaving reviews but this really deserves one. Awesome location, fantastic price, taught by a national coach (Peter), a great alternative to just Surfing everyday! We were lucky enough to get a slot just the two of us, Peter and... More

BEST DAY OUT ON HOLIDAY TO CORNWALL! Our family of four - 2 adults and two teenage boys (14) with very different levels of ability went to Red Elk Archery on Tuesday 27th August 2013. Peter and Karen were fabulous. Very knowledgeable with great natural and historical knowledge of the surrounding countryside. Great sense of fun, made the experience both... More

I booked in for a go at archery with Red Elk Archery for the beginning of my holiday in Bude - I enjoyed it so much that I managed to get a second session booked a few days later before I left! I was really lucky that my first session was just me and the 2 others in my family... More

Thoroughly enjoyed by all 5 of us, holding the interest and enthusiasm of boys aged 12 to 46. The highlight of our holiday!

What great fun! Eight of us (ie two families, ranging in age from 10 upwards) visited today. The day was made by owners Peter and Karen, who instantly put us all at ease, and provided enthusiastic and knowledgable tuition, all wrapped up with fun and a great sense of humour. We couldn't praise them highly enough, had a fabulous afternoon.... More

My husband and son enjoyed their morning out trying archery. What they particularly like was the fact that there are targets in the woods rather than just in a field.

We always wanted to try archery and after reading reviews we decided to incorporate it into our trip. Peter was brilliant, a fountain of knowledge and local history and funny with it, he quickly got us firing arrows. It was a lot of fun, good for all ages.
