This was so much fun. My gf took me as a surprise bday present and it was such a great experience. The guy who ran it was extremely skilled and knowledgable. He made it very easy to learn. He had broken his ribs the night before and still came to teach us!! Highly recommended.

Me and three friends visited Pete and Karen at Red Elk Archery and we certainly was not disappointed. We had so much fun learning the correct techniques and then a great experience going round the trail to shoot at the targets. Pete was a great guide with so much historical and local knowledge. I would recommend this for kids and... More

My family and I recently visited Bude in Cornwall. Luckily, we decided to give Red Elk Archery a go, as it was very close to where we were staying, just outside of Bude. What a fantastic afternoon we all had ! The couple running Red Elk were very friendly and gave us excellent tuition on how to shoot an arrow.... More

Fantastic day out had by all, run by really welcoming and friendly people in beautiful surroundings! Their passion for it was infectious and were full of helpful tips to improve our aim. Turned very competitive within our group and everyone hit the majority of the animals at least once. Would highly recommend!

The hosts/instructors Pete and Karen were really welcoming and so accommodating and the instruction and advice given was fantastic. Once we were up to speed with the basics, we were taken out on our adventure within... More

Me and my little lad had a fantastic afternoon thanks to a brilliant husband and wife team. My son is quite young for this sort of activity (I won't say how young as to give them a chance at using there own discretion with others) but has had quite a bit of archery experience in the past (Warwick Castle/Sherwood Forest... Fantastic mornings archery. Target practice to get your eye in, then off into to woods to hunt the foam animals. Pete and Karen were brilliant instructors, highly recommended.

We (daughter aged 12, son aged 9, and myself) had a wonderful time trying our hand at being Hawkeye and Katniss. Very friendly and knowledgeable team, fantastic tuition and a great way to spend the afternoon.

After trying archery at places like centre parcs, we expected some of the same. How wrong!! The centre is down a long gravel road, well off the beaten track. It's a delight to find the secluded bowl type area surrounded by woods. After a short introduction for safety, we commenced target shooting. After a hour and many arrows fired, we... More
