A first class surf school: friendly, well run, with first class equipment. Mike and Nicky make everyone feel welcome, and their instructors are friendly, knowlegeable, and clearly love what they do: Their enthusiasm for teaching is apparent, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Home from a great weekend away in Bude where myself and a friend had a couple of lessons to surf from Raven Surf School. I had two lessons with the Raven school this weekend and can't recommend them enough. Patient, encouraging, fun and friendly. The coaching was spot on, and with just two of us on the second day, the almost one-to-one teaching meant this landlubber made a massive leap!

Had two small group lessons with Mike at Widemouth Bay near Bude. He really knows his stuff - and did a good job coaching a near beginner like me. Highly recommended.

When considering a couple of surf schools, was swayed by Mike's experience and qualifications, mentioned on website. Was therefore a bit disappointing to find he doesn't coach, he hands out the equipment. My wife and I really enjoyed our 2hr lesson with Mike and hope to be back for a more advanced lesson soon. The boards and wet suits provided were in great condition and Mike is a great coach as well as a friendly, genuine person who made us both feel very at ease . Thank you.
