What a lovely surprise the museum was. I visited the museum with my 6 year old twins on a rainy afternoon. I was short of ideas and thought it would kill an hour. We were there for 2! The shop was also excellent. I bagged a scooby doo annual and an animal book for a pound each. All the toys... More

We liked the jumble sale approach, It made you search out memories long forgotten. The shop part is a bit nurdy, a bit Big Bang Theory. Think Sheldon, Howard, Leonard and Raj. The comment about the staff, we didn't experience rudeness. They just told us about the layout of the place which is a converted terraced house and let us... More

The range of old toys on display brought back some wonderful childhood memories. I could have spent all day looking at the displays. Well worth a visit for kids of all ages.

What a hidden gem of a place. It was like an Aladdins cave full of old toys from my childhood. From tiny tears dolls, magic roundabout characters to chopper bikes the list is endless. If you are ever in this area this shop is a must, it takes you back in time.

No matter what your age, this museum will make your mouth water. The toys games and memorabilia of bygone days are unforgettable. If you are in the generation who like myself grew and played in the 1950s onwards, you will surely remember with a passion the days of your youth and the toys you had or wanted to have and... More

Nice little place to have a nose I was expecting a bit more variety to be honest but it seemed to gear more towards male toys. Did not find the man behind the counter very friendly at all, maybe he was having a bad day. Everything was crammed into small cabinets but was worth looking. Saw some things to bring... More

Very interesting range of toys and well worth a visit. Don't know how it pays as everyone just seemed to be looking and not buying in the shop.

Not worth making an effort to get to this place. Staff were grumpy and uncommunicative. It is just an excuse to get you into their toy shop.
