This is a really lovely toy museum - it doesn't matter how old you are you will recognise some of your childhood toys! We enjoyed our walk round and the couple who run the place and own the exhibits are really sweet. The extended family who own the toys have collected over 65 years. From the vast number of toys... Amazing treasure trove of toys from the last 30-100 years. Pity such a small collection (space wise) but certainly squeezed into every nook and cranny. Very enjoyable visit that fills approx an hour, so worth a visit if passing through Callander on a days trek.

We only heard about this place when we drove passed it coming from Stirling. What a great place to visit, the younger guy at the til when we entered was helpful showing us where to go. Our 7 year old was amazed to see the better quality of toys that we played with. The soldier room was jaw dropping, there's... More

We have been there for the first time, it was a nice experience to come back to many years ago through the big and interesting toys collection. Nice place, small. There is the toys museum inside the shop , very nice . You can visit it paying 3 pounds. It takes half an hour almost. It's on the main street,... More

A great place to visit when you are in Callander. It is a real "tardis" once you step inside because there is so much crammed into a tiny shop/museum. All the toys and memorabilia are arranged in interest groups and it is great wandering around remembering the toys, books and so on that you had when you were a child.

I had noticed the museum in passing when I was in Callander about a year ago but didn't have time to go in. Was there again today with my 2 sons and one of their wee friends (ages 16, 12 and 11), and am so glad that on this occasion we went in. This wee museum is an absolute gem.... More

This is one of the most quaint and surprising museum/collections I have ever been to. You just end up staring at the jam-packed displays, memorized by all the memories that come flooding back.

Quirky museum with very reasonable admission fee. A visit brings back memories of anybody's childhood, with toys, games, books, trains, cars, dolls, card-games, marbles, teddies by the truck-load. Its a house with toys filling every room to the extreme. On fine sunny days, the rear garden houses 3 model train sets all working in a superb lay-out. Well worth a... More
