Had a cream tea for one and it was excellent all round. Two scones so delicious and huge. I chose cherry and a fruit and couldn't eat it all. The staff are friendly and efficient and it is a lovely place. Much nicer to go for lunch or afternoon tea than the high street chains. Will definitely be my choice... More

Had lunch here after a long cold day shopping. Was a trip down memory lane, old fashioned cafeteria style Restauarant. Pleasant enough, food was overpriced, but good and hot. Coffee ok.

The store is a good old fashioned store with good old fashioned service. There are several shops to browse each selling different things. The main shop is mainly clothing and also has the cafe on the first floor. The cafe is clean and fresh and sells snacks, meals and drinks. All at reasonable prices. It is always busy. Worth a... Went into Moss Bros with my 16 yr old son to get a prom suit. Having never previously been suit shopping we were both novices! Paul & Chris were brilliant - great suggestions without being pushy, asking my son what his preferences were & advising what was on trend. So pleased with his suit & delighted by whole shopping experience.

I recently called into Austins Department Store in Newton Abbot, with very little time, with the challenge of needing a dress & make up suitable for a WW2 evening I was attending that day. The staff couldn't have been more helpful & kind. I came away with a suitable bargain dress (it had 30% off), earrings & to top it... More

The store is sprawled over several shops in Newton Abbot, a bit pricey but the quality is there. The café upstairs in the main shop is very popular and is always full in the mornings.

I love independent small stores, you find things not in the all the large ones where everything is the same in each store, My friend picked up a lovely pair of slacks for £5, she thought the sign said £5 off the garment, so she was delighted, we spent quite a bit of time here as there were so many...
