Such a beautiful church in the centre of Christchurch. Worth a visit for it's pure beauty, my little girl loves walking through the churchyard and calls it the princess castle. It is a 2 minute walk to the quay where you can feed the ducks.

We visited because it was raining if I'm honest, but what a pleasant surprise! The staff (volunteers) were brilliant, knowledgable and friendly. The church was lovely with beautiful stained glass window and paintings on the ceiling and walls! We climbed the 70 odd steps up the tower to the museum and it was worth the effort, very informative and a... More

Remarkable architecture, stone carving and features. The scale of this the longest church in Britain is breathtaking, putting one in mind of a cathedral.

Do visit this magnificent medieval priory. There are many artefacts to see and the rose window is one of the best in the country. Quite often there are recitals usually with asmall fee thoughsome daytime ones are free.

lots of history, good guide book with local legends/historic tales about the church which make the visit more worthwhile. If you can catch a wedding arriving/departing or regular service in the church you see the church in all its glory.

We got married really close to the Priory church, the grounds are lovely to wander through, with good parking facilities very nearby.

Not a lot to see in this church and not as big as we expected, although obviously a very nice building but apart from that there is nothing else to it. Maybe it is because we are close to Durham cathedral and compare it to all other churches, abbeys etc. which we visit
