Excellent place for all family, great walks or cycle. Great forest walks also beside the main estste. On a warm sunny day nothing better to finish of with a picnic on the large lawn in front of house or in the beautiful walled gardens.

since folk museum was closed that day (monday)we looked for an alternative. the ground is nice, but the price is too high and doesn't worth.

Unfortunately we arrived too late to see the house but were amazed at the gardens and especially the old saw mill that is still fully functional. Parts of the garden were truly breathtaking. There are fabulous flowers and trees and the walks are well sign posted and you could lose yourself for an hour strolling around.

This year I have paid numerous visits to Florence Court .I walk my dog around the grounds and they are a credit to the Rangers, not a piece of litter in sight, the paths are well kept ,weed free and the new path made in around the ford area is excellent.I visited the day after a very busy Country Fair... It burned in1955. The servants quarters and a few rooms are on display. There is little original furniture. The garden is being restored.

House truly authentic with mostly orginal furnishings including a great organ in working order.Grounds as one expects lovely for a walk in better weather , but has miles of tracks. Walled garden beginning of restoration with some lovely ways to have climbing roses ,... More

We were caught for time and just wanted to go into the house but we had to pay for entry for grounds and the house. Th house was lovely, very interesting. The grounds (of what we saw) were lovely. They're huge.

Nothing to dislike. Very interesting house and gardens. We spoke to and walked with a lady who regularly walked her dog in the gardens and will do this in future when we return. We joined the National Trust that day, which will make it free to re-enter.

We really enjoyed our visit to Florencourt House. Lovely long driveway up to the house passing by nice sheep and lambs in the fields. Car park is perfectly situated beside a nice picnic area with a great playground - the rope swing was great fun!! We booked in for the 3.30 tour of the house. Lovely courtyard with a great... More
