I visited the Sage the other day to collect a programme and went to the cafe while I was there. There was a choir performing near the cafe which was nice to listen to while having a drink. The view from the cafe is one of the best views of Newcastle as well.

The Bistro here served wide variety of dishes and the puddings are out if this world. The acoustics in the halls are amazing and it's a small enough venue to actually see the artist on stage. All in all a great night out

This was our first visit when we attended the Candi Staton New Year's Eve concert. The venue was busy but there were plenty of staff to cope with the numbers. Seats were comfortable and arranged such as to give everyone a good view. Acoustics were also great and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Having recently visited The Sage Gateshead to see a recent Paul Carrack concert I am deemed to review the facilities within this tremendous venue, Parking Excellent, Comfort Superb, Toilets Immaculate and that's where it stops! My main grouse is the bar facilities, the main bar in the lower foyer had seven staff three were trying to make one cup of... More

Have been to the Sage a few times, but this is my first review, following the Paul Carrack gig last Sunday. The venue, the acoustics, the wonderful dinner beforehand in the Brasserie all made it a very special evening. If you have wondered what the Sage is like, go in, have a coffee, wonder at the amazing construction, and book... More

First impressions count, and having been to the Sage on a number of occasions over its ten years in existence, I have always been wowed by its light and airy architecture, the splendour of the panoramic views of the Newcastle quayside and the feeling that this place is somewhere truly special. Having purchased two tickets to spend New year 2014... More
