My daughter was a small child when this was built, she looked at the CGI images and announced it looked like an animals paw!! We all laughed but I can understand what she meant. It sits poised above the Tyne, majestic and beautiful. Constantly changing with the time of day and the light. I love the performance space overlooking the... More

The building is stunning, the acoustics are magnificent, the views from the building are superb, the music they put on is world-class. It's one of our country's great landmarks, not just the North East.

the building itself is impressive - for concerts/performances the acoustics are amazing - architects clearly knew what they were doing - cafe/restaurant is a bit expensive - great view over tyne & city - not far from

This was our first visit to The Sage. It is a wonderful venue. The acoustics are excellent, the seating well-designed, and overall the concert was a most enjoyable experience. The design of the auditorium seems to bring you 'closer' to the performer.

What is there to say about the Sage that hasn't already been said? We've been here on a couple of occassions, most recently to see Al Stewart, and the acoustics were excellent along with good views of the stage. Even without going to see a specific event, The Sage is worth visiting in order to admire the building's near unique... More

This is a great music venue. Large enough to get great bands in, but intimate enough to feel that you're really experiencing the artists. Giving beautiful views over the river Tyne (especially at night), don't ever pass up an opportunity to visit.
