A very visual attraction for Tyneside.

Very interesting modern venue of the arts. Very imposing building on the Tyne Riverside. Well patronised by all generations.

I've seen a lot of bands / singers in my time at different arenas, halls , outdoor , stadiums but this place has to be the best by a country mile .

Just went to see the inside of the building as it was beautiful from the outside when you are across the river (Gatehead Quays). A few floors on the inside which we did not bother to climb as we were running out of time. There is a small coffee shop and a gift shop on the ground floor.

After crossing the millennium bridge, the wife and I gave the Sage a visit. What a wonderful building it is. Being a Tuesday morning it was quite. A lady came up and asked us if we would liked to be shown around the building. She explained how it was built, about the sound proofing of each concert halls and how... More

Have been several times, esecially for classcal msc concerts and found the acoustics the best I've ever heard. Food and drink, access and everything about the venue is top notch.

Overlooking the modern and vibrant Quayside area and sat just above the landmark Millenium Brige, the Sage is a modern and very spacious testament to just what can be achieved with a bit of innovation. Housing numerous music spaces, the 2 main venues are exceptional and provide very different experiences. Hall 2 is small and sat "in the round" -... More

We attended the Sage for an awards evening. Welcomed very warmly at the entrance, drinks and aperitif service was efficient and frequent. Service at dinner was efficient. During a break one of the facilities managers very kindly showed us around this iconic building. Very kind. Wonderful views.

1st visit to the Sage was to Northern Symphonia's "Last Night of the Proms" event. It was superb - the orchestra, the soloist, the atmosphere and the venue. We'll be back!

Great evening with the NE Symphonia playing a classic last night of the proms. Surprised that there were empty seats, great programme, over to quickly. Soprano and the Symphonia chorus provide terrific vocals, the audience, suitably adorned with union flags provided the enthusiasm. Always a good experience at The Sage, this was no exception.
