Went to see 'Duke Special' and had a marvelous time. The gig was in Hall which was smaller than the layout on the website suggests, but we loved the place. Nice shape and acoustics. You will get a good seat virtually anywhere in that hall. We had limited seats to choose from by the time we got to book the... More

Visually and acoustically outstanding. Incredible vista from the concourse onto the river and sky. Like nowhere else in UK Good facilities let down only by poor food offering. Last year food from the bar/ cafe was good but this year...very poor and disappointing. The restaurant may be better, we didn't try it.

As an engineer I am always fascinated by modern architecture. The Sage at Gateshead is a magnificent building and well worth a visit. When we visited last year we were able to see all the nearby bridges over the Tyne from one position.

Excellent venue, fantastic acoustics. A must for music lovers. Comfortable seating although leg room a little tight in certain seats.

I can't say much about the sage because I spent my time in the dressing rooms waiting to go on and sing. But let me say it is huge! Perfect spot if your going to Gateshead/Newcastle! I would recommend seeing something else too because if your just looking around it may be boring (wich it isn't!!!) Have a look, it's... More
