Best viewed from the Newcastle side of the Tyne and in the dark - gives an art deco image of 3 coloured ships coming towards the spectator. As a venue, it is world class. Excellent acoustics and beautifully designed concert hall. Restaurant and bar not bad either.

I attended a music evening here and it was great. The seats were perfect and i was able to see everything. The food in the restaurant is also lovely. If you get the chance to see a performance here please do. The staff also gave my friend a tour of the building, which was so kind.

While intrigued what was inside this iconic building we finally had a wander round - and wow what a facility the inside was as spectacular as the outside. Newcastle has much to be proud off.

Went to the Sage to see Emmylou Harris in concert, had a great night two hours of fantastic music. The only disappointment was the meal before the portions were very small and the food was so spicy it was barely edible and hardly worth what we paid.

Only a few minutes walk to Hilton Gateshead. Great venue and very easy to get in and out of even in a larger crowd.

If you ever get the chance to visit the Sage either for a concert or just for a look around you wont be disappointed. This is one of the very best music venues. There is a viewing area in the main hall were you can view your seat before you buy, also it is a great location for views of... More

The Sage is a fabulous space. From the moment one comes into the building the sense of light and airiness is wonderful. The bars all look out over the Tyne and the Millenium bridge. The concert hall is superb and no matter where one sits the acoustic is excellent. The Brasserie serves good food effociently and is ideal for a... More

The Sage is a really beautiful building both inside and out. Very modern light and airy with great views long the river Tyne. Nice cafe and not to overpriced with a nice variety of good food to eat especially the pastries. A great venue for all differing types of concerts and for all ages.

We have been to several concerts and musical shows at The Sage. All have been good value for money and not too crowded as the concert rooms are not too large. I like to book for a birthday treat for friends and family as I know it won't disappoint. Plenty of parking and not too much of a queue to... More
