This is a truly remarkable building. Stunning to look at and with beautiful and elegant concert halls inside. A lovely and friendly member of staff took it upon himself to guide us round so we could see the halls and everything we needed to from the best vantage points. If you're going to a concert make sure you have enough... More

Went with my family (2 kids 6&3) to watch the snowman and I have to say that even if I watched it a few times the experience of the orchestra is great! The venue is great and the acoustic fantastic. It's a different experience and definitely worth the visit

My wife and I visited the Sage just before Christmas 2014 to hear and see a performance of Handel's Messiah. The venue is great. The hall is quite plain but nevertheless is really nice and the acoustics are very good. The place looked great, decked out for Christmas and the view was great too, with Christmas lights at the Baltic... More

My partner and I recently visited the sage and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being entertained by Beverley Knight. We started with a 3 course meal in the Brasserie restaurant, which was very good. The show itself was outstanding, Beverley Knight was nothing short of brilliant. What a performance, and what a show!!! A huge well done to all involved!!... More

I love coming back to this beautiful building. Have previously attended a conference here and impressed with the halls. Great architecture and acoustics. Views over Newcastle great from the galleries and even visiting, can enter the halls and listen to practice sessions.

We love the Sage and have been to many concerts. The last one Imelda May was a disaster as the sound was too loud and blurred. We gave it 29mins and left. This has put us off coming for a while.

The Sage is a great building for live music whether it be classical, jazz, rock or the arts in general. Acoustically tempered and well designed, it allows for the perfect concert going experience. The modern feel of the place gives it a crisp, clean and cared for feel. The exterior and location alone are worth visiting for. In addition, the... More
