This is one of the prettiest parks I've ever been to. Visited several times with my partner and our dog, never disappointed. It has picnic tables and a bar, a dog area, many services and it is always well kept. Beautiful and very enjoyable, makes an excellent choice for a day out with tour dog or with tour family.

Easy to spend a few hours here having a walk about and looking at the animals. Good play park and maze for kids and can hire rowing boats on the lake (£5 for 20 mins). Recommended for a nice day out.

What a great park. Something for everyone and everything so well kept. It was a very busy Saturday. Quite a few inclines but lovely to walk around. Beautifully clean boating lake. We bought an ice cream at the Towers and the coffee shop looked clean and reasonable. Must return to see the Rose Garden when the roses come out. Plenty... More

I have visited Saltwell Park many times in the past with my children. I visited recently with some of my grandchildren. It is even better after it's restoration several years ago. Some parks will keep families happy for an hour or two but Saltwell Park with its café, lake, play areas (for young ones & separate for older ones), animals... More

Since all the rebuilding of Saltwell Towers it is an even greater park than it was. Large park with lots of areas for different activities. great to have a lovely café as well. Car park small but if you don't mind a walk on street parking is available. Lake with rowing boats an added pleasure.

This park is spread over a vast area. It's a beautiful park and very well looked after. There's a huge lake to feed the birds, places to eat, a great maze for the kids to get lost in, different animal to see in a huge Avory. Really enjoyed my time here and would definitely go back.

We spent 4 happy hours exploring, playing and picnicing. My daughter loved the birds and guniea pigs and they looked very happy and well-cared for. We saw ducklings and goslings which was a real treat but were almost mugged by a squirrel for our icecream! All told we spent £5.10 on 3 icecreams and had a fab time.
