Natural beauty in abundance. trees and the River Spey. We walked from the town of Grantown on Spey to these woods and were simply charmed by their accessibility and beauty.

On the edge of Grantown-on-Spey, this lovely pine forest is a delight to explore, and plays host to a good range of wildlife. Easily reached from the town centre, and well worth exploring.

We had a nice walk here on our last morning in Grantown. Coniferous woods, pleasantly intersprersed with heather and rowan.

We like to hike and this park was located right across from our guest house. Pleasant trails and waterways to stroll along.

This is an excellent location for walking or running - and close to the River Spey itself, which we ended up walking along - really beautiful!

Loads of different paths and tracks to cycle through and mostly, you don't have to go on the roads. We cycled from the caravan park, along the old railway line then had to cross the main road to enter the woods. You could go back and fore through here covering miles of off road trails without using the same path... More

Loved the walks through the woods - easy to do with wheelchair friendly walks available too. Great opportunity to spot some wildlife as well

Thought the forest was a bit boring but the trails were easy to follow. If you had to kill an hour or so you could do worse.

I first walked here about 65 years ago (when it was known as Angach Moor). Very different now with map boards, marked tracks of different lengths and information about wildlife which may be seen. However, it remains a pleasant walk, full of interest and not too challenging. The woods are particularly picturesque and glimpses of the River Spey add to... More
