We visited the cinema on a wet Wednesday in August. When we arrived the queue was huge for tickets and there are only 2 tills, but we managed to get ours in time. The queue for snacks was also long. We were in screen 4, which was fairly cosy but clean and quite comfortable. The volume of the film seemed... More

Used to be quite run down and grubby. But it's been improved. The corridor is tidy too. The screen we went in was quite nice, the seats are ok but you don't get much leg room. Been here a few times, it's not bad as a local cinema in Great Yarmouth.

Needs a bit of a facelift but it's comfy and clean, would go back, located easy enough to get to being right on the front

We visited this cinema last year and even though we enjoyed the experience we could see that it was a bit grubby and run down. However we visited this year and were glad to see that some investment and improvements had been made. There are new seats and a new sound system, the price of a ticket is still fairly... More

This is an old cinema but not originally designed as a theatre or cinema, and it shows. I hope a new 'old' cinema takes over one of the old, closed theatres instead of this place. Incredibly hot inside on a 22 degree day and desperately in need of air conditioning.

We visited the cinema on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The choice of films was not very inspiring but we paid our money and went to screen five. The seats were very low and uncomfortable. Twenty minutes into the film we lost all sound on our film. We had a picture, but no sound. A man came into apologise but it... More

Went here to see Muppets Most Wanted whilst in holiday in the area. Lovely older style cinema and great value. Not for those wanting the latest 3D multiplex

We didn't watch any movie here but the building itself is pretty fine and we spent a couple of minutes gawking through the windows at proceedings inside the entrance hall. The bored looking youths flogging overpriced popcorn provided amusement and the ticket prices were not a complete rip. Recommended length of visit: 5 min.

This little cinema was quite old and had a bit of caracter. It had all the latest films on. Did not think it had as the big board at the front was advertising old films but was very suprised when we went to take a look , advarage price as well for the cinema.

This is the only choice for cinema goers in Great Yarmouth, its such a shame that this beautiful old building has been left to suffer. Some of the screens are basically like walking into someone living room with cinema seating (old school) and having a Big Screen TV. I don't think it will be long before this venue closes it... More
