Description: The Pleasure Beach with its mixture of high-octane rides and traditional...
The Pleasure Beach with its mixture of high-octane rides and traditional attractions sits at the top of Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile dominating the seafront skyline with its famous Skydrop. Spread over nine acres, the Pleasure Beach offers huge family fun, full-throttle white knuckle rides to exhilarate and thrill, water attractions to catch your breath and fun rides to keep the children happy for hours. Our roller coaster has been the star attraction since 1932 and is still a crowd puller today. More than 1.1 million visitors enjoyed the Pleasure Beach experience in 2013, confirming our place in the top 10 UK free entry amusement parks. And even more attractions, rides and innovations are on their way.

Typical seaside place

I like Great Yarmouth, the pleasure beach is average, I suppose its an okay place to take the children, but nothing to shout about.

Plenty of rides to choose from whether you like speed and spinning round or prefer the slightly more sedate rides. It really is for all the family and needn't break the bank. Plenty of food and drink outlets also.

This place has a few nice rides but sorely needs some money spent on it now. Looks like most of the place hasn't had a lick of paint in years! Makes you feel a bit sad in parts.Needs a complete revamp to modernise it and make Yarmouth proud of it. Having said that people did seem to be enjoying themselves!... More

Been coming every year for 21 years - family tradition. Everyone going has to experience the blue wooden roller coaster (one of the oldest about). Defiantly worth buying a wristband too. Lots to do for all ages of children. No entrance price so can go out and in as many times as you like. Lots of food and drink stalls... More

Not much open this time of the year but on the front there is indoor swimming, bowling and skating etc. Good market and plenty of shops. Plenty of dog poo around in the streets away from the front.

Kids loved it, very exciting and sometimes frightening experience. quite expensive for 1 day around £30.00 for adults , £20.00 for kids. Definitely not for the faint hearted

The best thing about our pleasure beach as it stands today is the roller coaster. It's an oldie but a goodie. The rest of the park is over priced for what's there. It needs an over haul to bring it back to how it once was. There's too many little individual stalls, they need some more big thrill rides.

Wrist bands on and go for it! This is great place and my son loves it to bits. Great rides and great price. Staff are friendly and it just needs a little TLC in places but apart from that it's superb. Rumours are they are building another section but it just needs the original part invested in first.

Yarmouth is a fun place from from river to beach and one o the best places is the Pleasure Beach. Something for all ages and assured to even the difference out. Allow plenty of time to enjoy it all
