This is a great exhibition of bygones from Victorian period up to 1950s. Lots of shop settings, filled with a fantastic collection of goods as well as larger items like bicycles, commercial carts etc. Best of all is a restored carousel on which you get a free ride included in the admission price. Nice nostalgia cafe, we spent a great... More

Popped in on a whim as wanted to waste an hour, glad we did. Really interesting place with lots of different displays, good information and well set up scenes. Really liked the station scene. Worth the entrance fee. In there nearly two hours.

We came August 2013 although it wouldn't let me input that above. I expected it to be more expensive we had a voucher but didn't use it as I'm disabled and my partner is my carer do didn't have to pay full amount anyway. My daughter who was 2 at the time had fun and loved it too. Lovely staff... More

This attraction is definitely worth going into Great Yarmouth for. There are a lot of very different things to see, including an interesting section on King Henry VIII and his six wives. The included carousel ride was very good and even the gift shop was nice. The combined ticket for entrance and hot drink + cake was very good value.... More

We popped in on a cold windy day to have a cup of tea. Ended up having afternoon tea... It was wonderful! As a family we've had a few afternoon teas in different places, and can honestly say that for the price, it's one of the best. Big cups and saucers, lovely scones and cakes. Highlight was the hot chocolate... More

Most enjoyable. Well worth the money and loved the friendly staff. Loved reminiscing about the things we saw. Restaurant served a lovely high tea great ambiance all round. Shop was great if you want to get things that are a little different. Prices we're not outrageous compared to other places like this of interest.

The highlight was for me the carousel from the 1800s.You could ride on it every hour.Liked how 'Queen Victoria ' told the story of the Royal family. Was disappointed by the tea room though. It was very end of season. The cakes and sandwiches were very delicious and homemade but the scones were definitely bought in so would not recommend ordering a... A little expensive for what it is, but this is largely down to it's prime location on sea front. It is a well thought out series of displays with a nice tripe down memory lane in the town scenes. The shop is also good, we found ourselves spending £23 in there!

My wife and I spent the last 4 days in North Norfolk and while we were there we travelled to Yarmouth where we visited Yesterday's World. We paid extra to have tea and cake after our tour of this museum. We were pleasantly surprised at this museum of exhibits from yesteryear, much of which as senior citizens, we could remember... More
