We went to Thrigby Wildlife Gardens on our way home from Great Yarmouth and were pleasantly surprised by how much was there. The tree top walks around the leopards and monkeys where very nice, although some areas where not accesable for people with prams or whose in wheelchairs. This place is beautifully kept and has many different animals to see. Its set in beautiful grounds also. The lion enclosure is exciting if a little frightening as you can get very close to them! Thrigy Hall is a small family run centre that is a joy to visit. There are many animals/reptiles who are kept in good conditions and the walkways amongst the monkeys is lovely; we saw several babies swinging in the trees. There is plenty for the kids to do with lots of stuff to climb on and a lovely treehouse walkway.... more
