A stunning place to come for a nice Sunday walk with kids. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It takes about 30 mins to cover the entire walk. Kids enjoyed investigating the nature-picking up leaves, worms etc.

Great early morning dog walk on a beautiful winter day. Good walks for all levels, from relatively flat on the reservoir path to steep woodland paths for the more adventurous. ***Please secure your car and hide your valuables. That is the only problem with visiting, as vehicle crime is quite evident.***

We walk the dog up here often. It's a very pretty place and you can walk up on to the tops for some great views. Has a cafe next to the water. There's some great mountain bike trails too.

If you want to blow away the cobwebs or just need the fresh air and exercise this is a great place. You can walk around the reservoir in around 30 - 40 mins taking in the views and wildlife. Children love to stop at the Duck feeding area. if you go off track from the reservoir you will be rewarded... More

Ogden Water benefits from plenty of parking and well maintained pathways. There is a large range of walks you can try from the simple wonder around the edge of the reservoir up to the stone monuments on top of the moors. Great for playing hide and seek with the kids and there are some well placed GeoCaches to hunt if... More

It costs 50 pence to park, payable into an honesty box. Onsite toilets are available but are only open at the same time as the small tourist information office. The tourist information office is staffed by friendly volunteers and sells snacks, ice creams and hot drinks (the hot drinks from a machine) as well as souvenirs and maps. A couple... More

it's a lovely place to go for a nice, easy walk. It's surrounded by trees and the water looks lovely. A good place to take your dog.

I visited this County Park where my partner was booked in for a willow weaving course here , and I took the opportunity to go for a longer walk starting and finishing from here, but also taking in a longer route around the surrounding moorlands. It was a dank misty day in February, fairly quiet, with not that many people... More

This is a lovely place to walk, both with and without dogs. There are several walks both around the reservoir itself and through the woods which surround it. The only drawback - it can get extremely muddy, so don't go if you don't want black dogs after it's been raining! If you go late morning, there's a great pub at... More

Love the choice of a long or short walk. However I do wish people would pay the very cheap 50p for parking!
