Nice for a short ish walk around - parking was crazy when we went, people fighting for spaces. Maybe you need to arrive early. It's a 50p charge to the visitor centre which is really just a room with a couple of vending machines.

A lovely setting providing several routes to explore depending on stamina and capability. It is a 1 mile walk on a flat path that is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.Routes take you up through the woods in different directions, free maps are available in the visitors center. They also sell snacks and drinks as well as maps of the surrounding... More

Ogden is an ideal place for a variety of walks, approximately a mile and a half just around the water or plenty of woodland or moorland walks if you want to stretch your legs. There is wheelchair access around the waters edge. As you leave the reservoir look out for Boggarts Tea Room walkers and their dogs are welcome and the food... More

On route home after an amazing holiday in Norfolk, we visited this lovely nature reserve. It was a little muddy under foot but we didin't mind. We walked through the wooded area with the little ones pointing out the autumnal colours of the leaves & their abundance on the ground. A pleasant & ordinary walk around a reservoir but it... More

This is a very popular res to walk round whatever the weather and it can be pot luck finding a parking place. Most times there are some stretches of the path that are very muddy, at the end of the res is a chance to venture up onto the hills if you want to cover more mileage or stick to... More

Whether it's a walk through the woods you're after, a walk over the moors, or even a circular walk around the water, Ogden Water Country Park has it all. Ideal for families, with safe, level footpaths around the lake and a lovely little area just past the visitor centre, where you can feed the ducks or sit at the benches... More

As a regular visitor to Ogden I have noticed over the past few visits the increase in dog poo on the paths, this is really disappointing that dog owners can not clean up after their pets. We have a small child and now find not only off putting to walk here but also unsafe.

All year round in all weathers, it's a fantastic place to be. One of the best nature parks of its kind in the UK.
