Walk my dog here very often and he loves it, kids seem to like the walk. The views are stunning and it's a gateway to the bridle way over the moors. Only problem is dogs have been poisoned here! Poor animals are ill and even dying because of some evil human who's poisoned the place! Watch out.

We took some French friends for a Bank Holiday Monday walk around Ogden Water. Having thought it may be very busy, we found parking easy. The car park is on several levels over a fairly bumpy track. There is an 'honesty box' for a 50 pence parking fee. A very pleasant walk around the Water. Our friends were interested in... More

There are lots of high and low level walks, walks around the reservoir, on moors and through woodland. Something to suit all abilities and most weather! The small cafe was very welcome after the weather when we walked. There are often events and guided walks which are well organised

The car park is a death trap, practically need a 4x4 to get to the top. In my small car I really struggled and was quite scared, it was like an off-roading drive. People had parked all over and pedestrians had to guide drivers. It was a nightmare. I just drive straight home. Don't get me wrong, it's a stunning... More

I visited Ogden Water Park with my wife and little three year old boy as we aim to find new walks in and around Yorkshire (my son refers to them as adventures). Ogden was such a brilliant find as the parking was only 50p and the walk was short enough for a little persons leg to endure. The location is... More

Good place for a pleasant walk around the reservoir. Ideal for those who are physically limited. Other walks in the area available but some looked to be too challenging for me.

I have been in this place a couple of times now and find it absolutely lovely. Good for a sunny afternoon, for those who like to spend their free time close to the nature as well as for those who would like to get their kids tired. There's a pond around which you can take a walk as well as... More
