We recently took three dogs and two children up to Ogden on a nice summer walk. The pathways are generous and easygoing even for those who are not uber fit. I'd recommend long leg wear and not sandals as the nettles are quite overgrown in some places. The gift shop at the end is tiny and lacking somewhat in gifts... More

A quiet Sunday afternoon break. We'd been before , but not for a few years and as we'd both become more disabled we were unsure how much we'd still enjoy it. Well the first issue was parking as the car park is haphazard and very little three I think for blue badge holders, they were full, we found a spot.... More

This defiantly is a place worth the walk. There are numerous walks you can do around. Including just sticking too the waters edge. Or walking round the woodlands. Also it is a nice walk up too the windmills and usually very quie, ideal for letting your dog off the lead. There is a donation box for the car park and a... More

We regularly go for walks around the reservoir, but have recently learnt that there is much more to Ogden Water. We plan to go up to the wind farm and follow the journey which I understand will set us up for 3 hours or so. The kids love going around on a hot day finishing off with an ice cream.... More

Lovely place for a walk. It is often busy, especially at weekends. There is a good variety of bird life to spot too.

We love taking our 11month old Jack Russell to Ogden. There is always something new to see which ever season you go in. It is nice and flat for everyone to be able to walk around the water. Our dog loves meeting other dogs so really enjoys going to Ogden as it is a favourite dog walking spot. Would recommend... More

Ogden is perfect for walkers. With the lake to walk around or the woods to walk through it certainly entertains all the family. Picnic areas and duck feeding. There is also a little shop and public toilets too! We spend alot of time here x

Been here a good few times over the years , tend to come when the weathers dry , can get muddy but it's great to blow the cobwebs off and good old Yorkshire scenery in every direction, good miles walk around the reservoir, but there's other walks if your a bit adventurous
