3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014 NEW

We recently spent around 3 hours there with a two year old and his ten year old cousin and both found lots of fun things to do, especially on the top floor which seems to be the more up to date section BUT...the food in the café was very poor and the catering staff really did not seem to have... Been here several times but ever time the day out is spoilt by uncontrolled school children. Whilst I know it's a childrens museum, they need to address how they can better arrange school parties. Eureka is my daughters favourite place but each time we(that includes me) have been pushed off/ out of the way by school kids. The teachers have... More

Went for the first time with our 2 year old granddaughter. Usually on a day out somewhere, she is constantly being told "come here", "don't do that", "do this", "don't touch" etc. eureka was different, she could go where she wants and touch what she wants and she loved it. Apart from a little guidance, we pretty much let her... More

Brilliant place, with plenty for kids to do. Both my nephews really enjoyed their day here. All staff were very friendly too.

Visited today with daughter and two grandchildren. Over £40,and whilst this gives a year of visiting, there really is less than we had expected, and it is unlikely that we will get our moneys worth. Add in £3 for 4 hours parking, and the costs add up. Worst of all was the catering. We joined the queue in the cafeteria at 10 to 12... More

We went here with our two daughters aged 2 and 7, they both had a fantastic day, and as parents we enjoyed it too. There was plenty for them to do, pushing buttons, role play and the outside is fab if you go on a warm sunny day as we did with the big sandpit. They learnt some things too... More

Went here on a sunny warm day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were all absolutely amazing, friendly knowledgable and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Our 6 year old had a great day and asked if we can go back again soon. We took a picnic so can't comment on the food but there was plenty of space inside and... More

My 3 year old had a great time. Which I suppose it's what it's about, but I expected more. A lot of the exhibits were a bit dated and not all were working. The new all about me section was excellent however. If you are close by then then annual pass idea is great, as I would go more often... More

Hi Caroline. Thanks for visiting us and for taking the time to review your time at Eureka! I’m sorry to hear that we didn’t quite live up to your expectations, though it’s great to hear that your 3 year old had a fun time. Many people don’t realise that we’re a charity and that the entrance fee that you pay... More

Stopped here on our way back home from Chester. Our kids (3&1) loved this place. Even though most of it went over their heads, they loved pressing buttons and playing with the interactive gadgets. Plan to keep going back as they grow up!

My daughter is 14 months old. She loves Eureka! I take her as often as I can because she learns a lot about many things without even realising it. I'm 41 and I love Eureka because I'm a big kid myself and I love to play. Highly recommended.
