Harlow has so few nice places to visit, but this is one of them. The museum is on a small scale, but staff obviously make an effort to engage visitors. The walled gardens are lovely and add a lot to the experience.

I spent hours here. There is a lot of history in Harlow. The Roman history of the area is explained in artifacts and diagrams and there are interesting pieces on Harlow throughout the ages to present times with modern New Harlow. The building itself was used as one of Harlow's first bicycle repair shops and the owner had an amazing... More
