An excellent, and at times exhilarating experience, as we rode the waves with our experienced and well informed skipper. Being neither ornithologists or geologists we returned from the trip determined to learn more. John, ably assisted by Kayleigh, not only introduced to this beautiful island but we're a fount of knowledge on bird and sea life. A brilliant trip. Thank... More

This was a fantastic boat trip (lasts about 3 hours) around the islands of Noss and Bressay, which are just off Lerwick. We left from Lerwick harbour and were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, particularly the captain. We immediately saw seals on one of the small, uninhabited islands near Bressay, which was a good photo opportunity (there were... More

Fantastic trip!! Well worth every penny. Not only do you get to travel round the beautiful islands of Shetland by boat. You also have the chance to see vast colonies of sea birds and seals, stunning geographical features and underwater marine life. The crew are both knowledgable and entertaining, making it a trip everyone can enjoy. Brilliant!!

This is one if the best little boat trips I have ever done. The captain John is friendly and informative. He uses an underwater camera so you will see things you have never seen before. He also goes so close to the shore. I only have a tiny camera and I still captured some amazing shots. If you are visiting... More

The excitement of seeing the cliffs up close from the sea was fantastic, the seabirds especially gannets were wonderful. Jonathan's guiding was great - we all saw loads of interesting stuff, the underwater was particularly educational and astonishing. Everyone from octogenarians to twenty year olds in our family group were impressed and loved it.

These were the words from the very helpful lovely lady in the Tourist Board in Lerwick and she wasn't wrong. We had an incredible trip out with Jonathan and crew and it was fab, in fact the very nice man from National Geographic who was also on our trip taking photos for an article to be written was ecstatic. We... More

We had a wonderful trip. We were really lucky with the weather and we managed to see lots of birds. Great knowledge from Jonathan and we were all made very welcome.

A well kitted out and comfortable boat with all the essentials - a covered area, a loo (the heads), cups of tea, biscuits and a great crew. Jonathan's knowledge was almost encyclopaedic whether on the subject of Shetland geology, bird life, fisheries, local history or marine life in general. This is delivered in the most interesting and relaxed way and... More

We've toured many islands and taken many boat trips but this one today was the best one we have done The boat is great with plenty of space inside and out and a top deck for the braver sea goer. (Its windy and get cold but it's worth it). When it gets cold you can move inside and still get... More

The museum is an excellent place for a good day out and to find out about Shetland. There are lot of things for children to do, a restaurant for coffee and cake and a good gallery for local art.
