My boyfriend and I were on a very tight schedule (only a few hours on Shetland), so this sea tour was the perfect opportunity to give us a taste of the remote archipelago. I should specify, first of all, that I have never seen seals so close and so friendly or ridden a boat providing underwater footage... and I should... More

This excursion was recommended by our hotel staff and it was so fantastic. A ship with two skippers and three hours on the water looking at sea birds, sea life (seals and sea otters) and water life. The skippers were knowledgable and kind providing a coffee/tea break mid sail. We highly recommend you take this in.

I absolutely love going on a Seabirds and Seals trip when I'm in Shetland so was really looking forward to my 3rd trip (my 1st solo trip). The crew were really attentive and helpful getting me on and off the boat and very knowledgeable making them the best Noss boat trip! The water was flat calm which is always a... More

High quality marine and seabird tour, with knowledgable skipper and guide. The highlight was a close sighting of a female Minkie whale on the south coast of Bressay. Highly recommended.

We took the tour in the afternoon as it was fully book in the morning. Just a few distance from the port we already saw seals. The 2 staffs are friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the marine life. And the views and birds are amazing. They even stop for fishing and caught a fish. They also stop for tea... More

This was one of the highlights of our time in Shetland. We saw seals, porpoises, lots of birds and we were even lucky enough to see some otters! Jonathan and Ian were very friendly and informative and we would definitely recommend this trip.

I've done the trip with Jonathan several times and I am always amazed at the depth of knowledge he has about the marine life as well as the local history, traditions and people. He and his crew make you feel welcome, comfortable and safe. And the ginger biscuits are to die for. It is a unique experience one gets from... More

local captain takes only 12 people on a tour of Noss. not only do you see many species of birds, but the underwater cameras give you views of the undersea life which is surprisingly rich. good trip to take from a cruise as plenty of time. but you need to book in advance. Captain knows marine biology and birding which... More

When my my wife and I booked the tour we were on the waiting list at first. But we were lucky to get on board. We had a comfortable-sized group, fairly decent weather, and learned a lot about ecology, birds and environmental effects on the seabeds. We would recommend this tour for everyone - including children ( not too young)... More

We went on a day that was rainy in Lerwick, but it cleared up as soon as we got out to sea. I was a bit disappointed by the sights in the first half of the trip, but totally awestruck at the tall cliffs with the gannets and other birds. Just an amazing sight! The trip was very well done.... More
