The tours are every hour on e hour from 10 am to 4 pm. We visited to do a tour, but they were fully booked all afternoon since they had a large tour bus coming in shortly. My husband was very disappointed since Highland Park is one of his favorite single malt whiskies. After talking to one of the cashiers... More

We arrived at Highland Park after an extremely cold walk up from Kirkwall in the wind and rain, and were greeted with a true "highland welcome". The tour from a senior guide was informative and entertaining, and he was more than happy to field questions from the group. The introductory film was, surprisingly, genuinely interesting and engaging, and the whisky... More

Simply breathtaking! Lovely tour around and the little tastes of whisky is just divine. It's simply amazing that you can get a tour where you can go right through the building and see exactly what they do and also how it all works.

Good visit, good guide, can see all the process and even take pictures which can be quite rare in this type of visit and even try some nice whiskies after that.

The tour starts with a really professional video about the distillery and the process of making whisky. This is one of few distilleries that still malt their own barley, so if you want to see that process - it's worth the trip to Highland Park.

Went to visit the distillery with my brother and his girlfriend, we booked a standard tour (£7.50 per person) and we were really impressed and itriguied by the lengthy process of how the whisky is made. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. And at the end, we got to taste the whisky! Great trip, recommended for all whisky lovers.

We visited this distillery as part our northern tour, and booked the viking tour for the next day £50 each but for that you get the tour then into the tasting room which as a great whisky collection but also photos and awards, our guide James was very good and he described all the whiskys mainly from the Valaha collection,... I went off-season so not too busy for the distillery. My tour comprised around 15 of us and I was the only one to book the connoisseur tour so I was peeled off to the tasting room for a 1-to-1 tasting with the senior guide. Amanda was great, we chatted for some time, sniffing and tasting the 4 whisky glasses... More
