A lovely hall with fantastic gardens and a great restaurant producing home made cake and other products. The staff are very helpful and guides very knowledgable and friendly.

The gardens are great for young and old alike. Lots of places to explore and plants to admire. I took my 7 and 3 year old, they had fun in the gardens although my little one was very focused on finding some kind of play area. There is or will be one but it was closed off on the day... More

The tour around the house with a clear, well-informed, friendly guide made all the difference to the day , as rather than be wandering around with an expensive guide book by ourselves not sure what to take note of , the history of the house and family, together with furniture and pictures in each room became much more interesting. Great way to spend the day with the grandparents and kids. Loved the garden and maze - loads of spots to explore. The house tour was informative and interesting but a bit too focused on family portraits.

The Crumblies toured Somerleyton Hall and Gardens, Norfolk.Road signage for coaches is rather poor and the entrance road is narrow and long. After an initial greeting our party was split into two House tour groups. Hope you like family portraits? Trees are big in their garden. It’s a quarter of a mile in and a quarter of a mile out….it’s... More

Somerleyton Hall and gardens is situated near Somerleyton village which is different from all the other villages in England. The houses look different, so that you are the feeling of being in a fairy tale. Magnificent! The estate is not far from the village and it has a beautiful garden with huge old trees. Something in the architecture of the... More

Called here after reading reviews and was not disapointed..we were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day. Took the 12 noon tour and were shown round by Barbara and Christine the two tour guides who spoke really well with passion and knowledge. The hall was interesting but not many rooms to view. The gardens were interesting with some beautiful trees... More

We visited here with my husband and mum in a wheelchair. The driveway upto the hall was long and picturesque. The gardens are well maintained and beautiful, the walk down to the hall was really pleasant with lots to see and statues, the hall itself inside was excellent the tour guides were exceptionally informative, it had tracks down in all...
