Family day out

Had an amazing time at the Zoo , cages are clean, animals look really heathly and keepers are very knowledgeable. Love the place . Would go back.

The central paddock has all the large species of animals loose together making in a good representation of the plain of Africa. Lovely to see ostrich, giraffe, rhinoceros and zebra all wandering around together.Very child friendly site.

A really nice day out for those with a young family and not too expensive. Staff were all very friendly and the specialist talks were well presented and informative, snake handling is a must! For us it was good to see several species in one very large enclosure as opposed to being kept apart. Lots of open space for having... More

Recently visited here with my daughter's school. Very enjoyable day. Large range of animals to see, lovely play area inside and out, train rides and lots more. We had a special meet the animals session specially arranged for the schools visit where the children got to hold various animals, ask questions & learn about different creatures/habitats. Very educational. The children... More

A lovely day at Africa Alive. A decent space set in lovely country side. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff and well kept animals. Reasonable value. All in all a good day out. The children loved it and so did I!

We visited here on our local stay at a holiday park because I came 2 years ago and wanted to bring my partner. Rest assured I was not disappointed. Staff are friendly, animals all well maintained and cared for. I think it's a great idea including a donation in the entry price despite someone in front of us complaining. Facilities... More

Great place to take small children (19 months). Weather was great which meant all animals were out enjoying sunshine. Large area well laid out with lots to see. Play area with swings etc. and restaurant, which wasn't too expensive, but plenty of areas/space for picnic. Would defiantly go back if in the area.
