A really good attraction with plenty to do apart from the animals. The children were kept amused collecting stamps for their card and were given a lovely medal for their efforts! The food and drink in the restaurant was good and keenly priced. Very clean and tidy everywhere. Quite a lot of walking involved as the free train was unfortunately... More

This is a truly amazing zoo and kept us entertained all day and it does really take a day to get round. Until later in the year there is also a Zulu group preforming twice during the day which are so good it`s worth going just to see them. Unfortunately there was no CD of their music in the gift... Loved it all but the Zulu dance troop made it really special - they are outstanding and well worth seeing. We spent 7 hours here with 2 daughters who can be hard to entertain and they were fascinated the whole time. Can't wait to come back.

Me and my partner visited Africa Alive last weekend as I had complimentary tickets and it was a lovely sunny day. We thought the place was fantastic! Had a huuuggeee variety of different fascinating animals! We saw a couple of the feedings of different animals which was great to see! I know we got in complimentary but if we were... More

Fantastic range of animals, African boyfriend impressed! Sad to see Cheetahs pacing round and round a muddy track round the edges of their cage - not uncommon with captive animals Otherwise a highly informative day, lovely staff and well labeled grounds. A lovely place to visit and charming cafe. Recommended for families, couples and anyone who's interested!

Would rate Africa Alive a good zoo. Not average or very good. Really liked the lions but perhaps their enclosure could be more spacious for them. The area where the giraffes, rhinos, ostriches and zebras roam is good. The price to get in is a bit high at nearly £18 per adult. we do appreciate the cost of looking after... More

Myself my friend and her two and a half year old daughter visited for the first time this summer. I personally loved the viewing shelter from which you can see the Lions, and was able to take some lovely photos of them without any wire between us. The little one was so exited to talk to the meerkats who came and... More

Went here during our week away as it was very close to the place we were staying. Entry fee was a little high but the park is very well laid out and the animals all look in excellent health and well cared for. Had to walk a fair way, until we spotted the train, which runs around the park at... More
