the train going round (in season only), the animals, the coffee shop and the gifts. The location is great and very near many of the main caravan camping and holiday resorts.

We enjoyed our visit to this zoo. There were several species that we had not seen before. The animals seemed to have reasonable space and the staff we saw were very good. Only real drawback of the place was the entry fee. Not complaining about the basic cost but if you agreed to sign up for Gift Aid they charge... More

Super day out with the kids at Africa Alive. Had a fabulous time, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The animals had plenty of space in their enclosures which were well spaced out and designed so that you could observe the animals easily and close up. The park was not too steep and although parts were a little muddy you... More

Great zoo. It would be quite expensive but we used Tesco vouchers so paid next to nothing! Most of the big animals are there (except elephants) and all animals seemed happy, healthy and well looked after. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the talks were interesting and informative. The kids got to handle some snakes which they loved! Well... More

We were staying at a nearby holiday park and decided to visit here, we used Tesco Clubcard vouchers so didn't have to pay. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be even though it was half term. There are loads of animals to see, we really liked the meerkats, they were so sweet. We even got to see... More

We went for a day's outing as a family of two adults and a 3 and 5 yr old. I can thoroughly recommend it as value for money, enjoyable and a day to remember. It's quite something to be so close to the animals...to see giraffe's being fed and lions prowling at close quarters. If you purchase tickets online you... More

It was a lovely day so we decided to spend the day here. My partner has a limited walking ability (distance is a problem) but the Land Train took the issue of the size of the park out of the equation. We were able to see everything we wanted to. The variety of animals is vast and was not too... More
