We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children and we loved it. We spent 6 hours in the park and found we were able to get closer to the animals and see and hear the feeding talks easily (we watched the lions and cheetahs and found them very imformative). We walked around the park first then had... More

My wife and I visited Africa Alive on the way back from a long weekend in Great Yarmouth. The layout and the animals at the park were truly amazing this has to be the best walking safari park in the UK. The enclosures are all easy to get close to so you have no problems watching the feeding and listening... More

This zoo is a nice day out if you have small children, lots of kid related activities, but I recommend taking a picnic as the food is quite pricey and the resturaunt there gets rather busy in the summer. The park it's self is rather small and if you're there without children, can take a couple hours to see the... More

This is a small zoo but with a good variety of African and Madagascan animals. There is a parkland setting and it is easy to find your way around the site. There are no steep inclines or steps allowing good access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. At one end of the zoo is a land train station (near the meerkats' and... More

It's always nice way to keep the children occupied for a day, lots to see, highlight was feeding time for the lions, the monkey was pretty good too, you can rely on them to do something funny.

I am a local so this zoo is perfect for a day out. So much so my wife and I bought season passes as we can go to Africa Alive and Banham for £50 a year! We love popping out for a half day or full day to see this wonderful zoo. It is not the biggest zoo by far... More

Very well done open and tidy. Never seen a fossa before phenomenal. Would advise wedging your admission gates open on quieter days it is abit off putting even with the signs to pay in the shop.

So much to see, my two boys aged 7 and 4 loved every minute! The Animals are well kept with plenty of space, the café is nice and clean, We visited at the beginning of May so it was quiet and the snack/coffee huts were closed. There's stamps for the kids to collect and they get a medal at the... More
