A lovely open area with so much to see and do, the animal enclosures are all really good and different to a lot of other places. You get some amazing view points from several levels/heights on most of the main animals - especially the lions and tigers. There is so much to do but you can spend hours looking at... More

Well spread out yet compact enough park. Animals are easily visible and I liked the open feel. The viewing platforms/areas are nice and you dont see apparently empty enclosures. Definitley worth a visit.

The park is well spread out with lots of things to look at and do for children. The only reason it does not get five stars is because of the admission price over £18 for an adult when the park has much less than other zoos in the surrounding areas.

A beautiful laid out Zoo with a huge range of animals, birds and reptiles. An excellent day out for all the family with the entry price in accordance with other attractions. A superb café with a good range of food or for those who prefer a picnic there are several places to sit and enjoy your food

It was quiet I really really loved the lion enclosure the platform for viewing let you see the whole thing and very close up. That was my favourite thing about the whole place. It wasn't as big as I expected but I enjoyed the visit as a whole.

Visited the park on a sunny Saturday after the Easter holidays. It was surprisingly quiet in numbers of visitors but not through lack of reasons to be there. The park seems very well run and the welfare of the animals in care obviously the priority. The visit is definitely educational for those of you who are interested, although if you're... More

By far africa alive is one of the better zoos we've been to offering plenty of room to the animals and also making it visitor friendly. In the high season theres lots of things going on all over the zoo. Well worth a visit

Im so glad I found this place. Your visitors are nearly as happy as your animals! I will certainly be back 🐢

On the plus side... the animals all had plenty of space (compared to other zoo's I've been to) and a were not just stuck in small cages. The general feel of the place was quite understated. This might be good or bad depending on your taste and the ages of the people going, but I preferred to just see the... More

Large park, not many animals, no elephants or hippos but a pond instead which was unexpected as no african theme, Kids enjoyed large play area and the bird trainer was very interesting and informative. Coffee from shop was vile. Felt that we should have been advised upon entry that 50p pieces required in machines for animal feed and change offered... More
