Great modern Zoo where outdoor open space to walk around is great. Easily manageable for wheelchair use and pushchairs/prams. Animals have lots of open space to suit their needs with excellent viewing. Plenty to do for a day out with play and running space for wee uns. Cafe had a good choice of nicely cooked food/snacks at very reasonable prices... More

We went to Africa Alive! based on a leaflet we picked up at the caravan park at which we're staying (about 30mins from AA). We arrived early. Our table had been reserved for us so we did not have to wait to be seated. The food was of excellent quality and everyone's order had been cooked to their specification

the train going round (in season only), the animals, the coffee shop and the gifts. The location is great and very near many of the main caravan camping and holiday resorts.

We enjoyed our visit to this zoo. There were several species that we had not seen before. The animals seemed to have reasonable space and the staff we saw were very good. Only real drawback of the place was the entry fee. Not complaining about the basic cost but if you agreed to sign up for Gift Aid they charge... More
