After several failed attempts last year due to weather we took our long awaited trip on a very wet day. The day as a whole was very well organised, good safety instruction, and friendly staff. Got on the river great time being had in the driving rain!!! Bad bit of trip was when got back to car park. We had... More

Hi thanks for your review. Regarding you having to change in your vehicle, as explained at the time the building belongs to Hereford Council and is alarmed each day at approx. 5pm and unless its an emergency unfortunately we can not access after then. However I have voiced my concerns to them and in future the facilities will be open... More

Mark and his team could not have been more helpful. They obviously know what they are doing and have good safety standards. I will be going with them again. The river is stunning, enjoy!

We stayed at a b and b and canoed to a different point (usually a pub for lunch) each day. Normally you would pack up every day and have your luggage delivered to the next port of call but we prefer to have one base. Rainfall had been in short supply that year. Consequently the river was very low and... More

Picked this one at short notice! Glad we did. We had walked this stretch, driven this stretch and now it was time to paddle this stretch! The staff were helpful with a great briefing! The cost was much cheaper than most competitors. The trip down the Wye was fantastic! Saw loads of wildlife, a mink, water fowl galore and even... More

The customer service that was received at this centre was shocking. The staff were short, rude and extremely unhelpful. Shocking compared to the service that I have received from other companies in the area.

Why Canoe down the Wye! Because it's Fantastic. Even if you're not a great outdoors type of person you're boundcto love it. It's peaceful, fun, and if the sun is shining (or not) the scenery is beautiful. Take a picnic and friends and have a fabulous half day or full days canoeing. A must try for all the family.

Had a really good afternoon Kayaking down the river Wye from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat. It was very easy going. There's a whole day option too - which may be even better if you get there early. May be worth booking at busy times - we got the last slot. They take you up river in a minibus and... More

We booked a day canoe trip from Hoarwithy to Ross on Wye and found everything to be fantastic. I spoke to Mark before our trip on the phone as I had a few questions regarding the booking and he was very friendly and helpful and actually wanted to help you unlike a lot of canoe hire companies so I have... I organised a 2 day trip to celebrate my 30th. Canoe the Wye were really helpful everytime i spoke to them. They were very understanding when i had to reshedule the trip due to heavy snow (end of March!). The 2 day shedule from their website was perfect for the group which included beginners. The waterproof barrels worked well when... More

The river was running high and fast, but with the open Canadian Canoes lashed together in rafts, it was an easy and safe adventure. We were able to stop and have a picnic on the banks of the river.
