We had a lovely stroll round this market. Indoor and out. Local source for food. Some stalls a little pricey.

The Pannier market is a very old indoor market open every day apart from Sunday, plenty of local produce all shapes and sizes !! local good and crafts, plenty to see, warm clean and excellent WC facilities for both able and disabled. Stall holders and cheerful and a good laugh and joke is never far a way.

Well some of it is, but I don't want to buy or see imported goods, more local producers please as what they do and sell is great

If you are visiting the Pannier Market, check if Farmer's Market is on too. Well worth it, interesting products of all kinds. Good quality and value.

Great bread, cheeses, cakes and veggies along with good coffee and eateries-we thoroughly enjoy making an overnight stop at Tavistock and taking advantage of stocking up for our self catering holiday at the market and also in the town.

Went to grab some meat for the braii as the rugby was on. Excellent choice of veggies and meat. Good prices and delicious puds as well.

The interior of this market makes you wonder about its history, it is so atmospheric. There's bric-a-brac, tasty local produce and a stall selling second-hand videos and CDs - horror films and old westerns galore! My husband spent two hours browsing this stall and came away a very happy man! It's under cover, too, so you can browse in comfort... More

found a great variety of very good food, particularly the Providence Farm organic meat and eggs, the Pomeroy Rare Breeds pies and the Olive Grove organics stall.
