Beautiful gardens in a beautiful setting! Tea shop is slightly expensive but the food is good! Staff at the reception are very friendly and are willing to help. Worth going!

Spectacular display of established gardens and parkland, with exquisite trees, and shrubs, with the rhododendrons prolific in exquisite colours. Well maintained walking paths and seating, beautiful lakes with ducks, with a gift shop and tea house. Allow yourself time to explore.

We always enjoy visiting because there is loads of space for our young sons to explore. They love playing imaginative games underneath the branches of trees, feeding the ducks and running to find out what they can see around the corners if the many footpaths. We also enjoy having picnics under the trees overlooking the fields in front of the... More

We visit here three or four times a year to see the fabulous gardens through the seasons. Each time we take a different route and always end up walking beside the delightful lakes. Take a picnic or have a snack in the on site cafe. Well worth the effort of driving the 25 miles from home.

A great time of year to go - some real vibrant colour throughout the gardens and a lot of plants springing into life. It's also possible to pick up snacks as you walk around the park from the converted golfing trolley.

We chose a fine dry day to visit, and that is important, there are several shelters to keep the rain off,but nothing else to do in the rain. The planting is diverse with large trees, rhododendrons and azaleas. Spring, early summer is lovely time to visit as the colours are dazzling. It is very easy to find your route as there... More

Sheffield park is the most beautiful garden I have visited in the UK! I was utterly wooed by the natural beauty and surroundings. The staff are charming, friendly and polite. The cream tea is generous and utterly delicious and under £5. We will be back to visit plenty this summer and many summers to come!
