Very beautiful gardens.

This is a very pretty and tranquil garden and we love going there. All the ponds and waterfalls are especially pretty.

I went to Sheffield Park with my girlfriend for a walk and a picnic on a Thursday afternoon. The picnic area is nice but there weren't any bins. I thought this a bit strange because it encourages littering. The gardens were really nice and you're unlikely to run out of places to walk, there are last of paths through so... More

Visited on Father's Day event. Gardens were perfect with lakes looking superb. The Father's Day BBQ food was fine although a bit pricey and long wait . Ran out of food shortly after we were served so suspect some disappointed visitors. Next time will take a picnic!

Really lovely landscaped gardens maybe best seen in spring. These are also notable to fans of cricket for having the site of an old Victorian cricket pitch where the Australians used to come in the middle of the 19th century. There is also a good water cascade. As usual the National Trust has a lovely cafe too.

Lovely Capability Brown gardens and lakes. But at £10 entry fee and no house to visit I thought it over the top. In fact IMO all NT places are overpriced and they make no concessions for seniors.

I was so fortunate to visit Sheffield Park in May 2015. The rhododendrons were at their peak. Some of them are vast and to be able to walk underneath them and look at the sky through their flowers was a rare privilege. The design of the garden is breathtaking. The beautiful lakes, the cascade and all the interesting walks around... More

Didn't have time to go all the way round this park, but for the time we were there with a 4 yr old it was excellent, she climbed that many trees, loved the ducks, the trees etc are amazing. Eating after in their tearooms was not as expensive as some places and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, other than our... More

Sheffield is wonderful and literally changes with the seasons. Beatifull diverse garden with great disabled access in the form of self drive mobility buggies which allowed my parents to enjoy the garden, something they could no longer do on foot

One of the best National Trust parks and gardens we've ever visited. Simply stunning! The Rhododendrons and Azaleas are out of this world with more colours than I ever imagined possible. We visited in mid-May, so it was the perfect time to view these spectacular shrubs. Lovely walks which are well planned out, and meander past the numerous lakes with... More

Although we didn't catch the gardens at their best (it was an overcast day, and the azaleas seemed mostly to be over) there was still plenty of colour from the rhododendrons, and it was very pleasant strolling around. It must be absolutely stunning on a blue sky day when the colours are at their peak!
