Just beautiful .Everyone has a different opinion about places and I would say well worth a visit although I found it more colourful in October with all the different coloured leaves on the trees. Please visit and see for yourself. I am a national trust ember so I'm not sure what the cost was to get In.

Very scenic garden, lovely lakes and trees, would be of interest any time of year. Good restaurant. We didn't have time for the estate walks but on a warm day would be worth doing.

Being a NI member, this is one visit well worth visiting. Perfect spot in Autumn as the Acers and surrounding trees are magnificent with their dazzling colours and textures. Walk around the lakes and if your energetic, take the looped walk and may even be lucky to see a cricket game in the neighbouring pitch taking place! Well worth the... More

We were staying less than a mile from here in a brand new holiday cottage so had to visit. Came here on a Tuesday to watch the cascade turned on (it is only turned on Tuesday and Friday for an hour as it takes so much water). The gardens are beautiful even in the middle of summer. I would imagine... More

Sheffield Park is our default choice for a Sunday morning stroll. We start at the cofee shop; coffee O.K. but cheese scones straight from the oven...Bliss. We then stroll around the park,(to walk it off!), enjoying the colourful shrubs and beautiful waterlillies. (Monet, eat your heart out)!!

Just beautiful. Take a picnic. Gorgeous views in every direction. Big enough to get lost in. Formal gardens and more open woodland. Well worth visiting.

Depending on your level of energy and 'type' of walk required, you have a choice of two. First and most obvious are the delightful landscaped gardens, offering lake vistas, huge trees of many varieties ( you can tell I'm no botanist ) as well as an abundance of plants and shrubs. An extensive network of paths will give your legs... More

If you are in East Sussex then a visit to see the garden is a must especially in the autumn. Beautiful garden which is well kept and always something fun to do or see.

This is the loveliest National Trust park I have been to, beautiful arboretum and gardens. Picturesque lake, with incredible water lilies. We were there a couple of hours, didn't see half of it, will definitely be back.
