Capability Brown at his very best. Three lakes to walk around (and cross over) to enjoy a lavish arboretum and amazing florabunda. Try to avoid weekends if possible as the park gets extremely crowded and the over-spill car park is a fair distance from the entrance. If you stay for tea, you will unfortunately witness the horrific 12 huge drum... More

A stunning garden with extensive lakes and landscaping. It s a bit pricey to get into but well worth it, especially if you combine with a trip on the bluebell railway nearby.

Pick a warm day full of sunshine and flowers in full bloom, visit Sheffield, and wham. You've got the perfect day. The grounds are beautifully kept, the staff are pleasant, the scenery is gorgeous. There's a waterfall, at least two large lakes, a gift shop, toilets, various walks you can take, and it's dog friendly. Free parking too, and a... More

Sheffield Park and Garden is beautiful but in Autumn, when the leaves change colour, it is spectacular! Every year, we go to look at the leaves changing colour and take photos. It's gorgeous and well worth a visit.

A National Trust property. The grounds of the privately owned house are truly lovely, with a range of lakes and man made features, coupled with multiple different tree specimens, which are labelled for interest. Dogs are welcome after 1.30pm.

Went to the park recently and we had tea in the cafe. This was the first time we had been in there and it is situated in a large hall which was impressive. The food was good and we took a small child with us as there was good access for a buggy. There was a nice selection of cakes.
