Very beautiful.

A very large national park. It is well maintained and looked after, and very popular with the locals, the ramblers, and visitors to east sussex. It is well worth a visit.

We visited with our young daughter (1) as a spur of the moment trip on a lovely sunny day. Having driven past several times we decided to go and investigate! It's well sign posted and easy to find, ample car parking and all the foot paths well signposted. There are picnic tables in a small enclosed well shaded area and... More

Glorious gardens, not to be missed. m We only had two hours and wished we had a full day. Strolling from pond to pond, vista to vista, admiring the variations in texture and color as well as the sheer stunning variety of specimens, we were very happy. We all felt inspired to paint or photograph. Our teenage girls loved wandering... More

What a lovely place. I was in awe at the beauty. August was a good time to visit as the water lily's were out. We took a picnic and sat down to eat it beside the stunning lakes, and we had the best laugh ever as the very tame ducks came over and helped themselves, so if you wish to... More

We spent a few hours here on Saturday, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had sandwiches and tea in the Restaurant which were very good. Also tea later from the 'Food Buggy'. Ducks are keen if you make wrapper sounds... so bring silent food wrappers! or be descended on/waddled over..! Lovely water and walks. this is National Trust. would have cost... More

Living quite near we make regular visits and did so again today. There are many paths to wander along with benches or seats dotted around. The lakes which cascade into one another are alive with pink and white lily's at the moment. However in my opinion one of the best times to visit is the autumn when the reflection of... More

My second visit to Sheffield Park and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The park is beautiful and it's lovely to walk around the lake. You can take some lovely scenic photos across the lake to the Manor House (which is not part of the park). You can also walk in the fields across from the park. The cafe is very nice... More

Very lovely setting for National Trust walk and tea room. Unfortunately, the intimate atmosphere has been somewhat ruined by extension of dining rooms, but of necessity due to numbers of visitors

Really wasn't wanting to go here, friends wanted to go. Absolutely blown away by nature, trees , lakes, info readily available which was definitely needed by me,a townie. Usually do cities , buildings, thought what can a few trees offer, well they offered peace tranquillity, thought provoking, wonderful feelings, totally took me away from the daily grind. Really not a... More
