An awfull hall. It's run down and needs a complete refurbishment or ideally demolishing and a new built. The seating at best is uncomfortable, cramped and basic. Seat layout appalling. It is neither staggard or tierd in any way so viewing of the tatty tired stage is obscured by other customers. They search bags not for weapons or methods of... More

A surprisingly complete and exhilarating evening at Wolverhampton Civic Hall venue to experience Seasick Steve's Tour Final Night. A fabulously triumphant concert performance by an unbelievably talented and charismatic performer and excellent backing band. Having the benefit of balcony seats provided superb intimacy & fine technical sound performance – often missed in the larger national venues. Standing room below in... More

You come here for the music not the bar ... Stunning music venue with good acoustics and you can see the stage from just about anywhere with good access to services. BUT ... the best part of £10 for 2 beers is a little steep.

First time at the civic and would happily return. Just been to 3 nights of shows as part of the Marillion UK Weekend 2015 and liked the venue. Roomy, good sound and not hard to get a good view from pretty much anywhere in the auditorium, which also has a balcony area. Bar and toilet facilities are via a perimeter... More

2 7.3.15 - It was a concert to see the boyband Blue. It's been a long time, since l'd been to this venue, nearly 15 years. I was impressed with atmosphere. Very secluded wiyh you and the artist. Would come again to a gig or to see a act. Would recommend this venue to friends and family.

Attended here on Sunday to see Sam Smith. Had bought the tickets for my husband who is a huge fan so we were really looking forward to it. Paid £88 each for the seats (£22 face value) on stubhub and they were sold as 'restricted view' we were on the right balcony, row D seats 6 & 7. We arrived... More

I went to see sam smith, £9.50 for 2 cans of carling, £3.25 for a bottle of water that still had Tesco's 80p sticker on it, 2 sandwiches £11, absolutely disgusted and should be illegal, And you wonder why Wolverhampton is still in the gutter, you should all be politicians, and ashamed of yourselves, robbing gits,

Me and my friend went to the Civic Hall for the first time last week to see Royal Blood - we had one of the best times ever! Upon arrival was a bit strange however, and according to the friends we made, this happens all the time at the Civic Hall, was that none of the staff we spoke to... More

I have seen many concerts at the Civic and it is a great venue. All of the concerts I have seen here is standing on the floor area downstairs and the balcony is seated. I like standing my wife is vertically challenged and she doesn't see much. So we go for a seat upstairs. Not the comfiest but they are... More
