Went to the Erasure concert last night - excellent performance not only by the band but also the staff. We had a special request on seating and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Friendly bar staff too. All in all, thanks to the band but also the venue, this was a great night!

Great venue, ease to find and park opposite. Good and friendly staff at the entrance and inside. Always a great atmosphere in a lovely sized place to see a gig up close. Balcony seating my favourite but standing is good too. Nice and intimate - well worth booking tickets there.

Typical Civic Hall theatre like many others round the country. A good venue for an excellent concert with Paloma Faith and her superb band and backing singers. A great night out.

I've been coming to this Venue for years to see the hottest and best rock n roll and heavy metal bands. We like the sounds anywhere you are and the easy access to the venue. We always pray that our favorites bands will pick the Civic hall in their uk tours. It's always a great experience.

Went here with a crowd of people to watch a boxing match. Great location. Parking nearby. Drop off point too but gets busy on a gig night. A small ish arena with balcony viewing or ringside seats. There is a small bar and priced at normal gig prices so didn't have too much. Took ages to get a drink. Plenty... More

Been to countless gigs here down the years, last night was The Specials but I could write this about any other experience. The layout of the venue is perfect for gigs, large open room with stage, bars down each side with several entry points keeping queues down and being able to access your place again easily after doing a bar... Great night again in the Civic Hall watching the Grand Slam of Darts. Good seats at front (seat H) but they seemed to really pack them in tight this year, had to move the seat right back to get out. Maybe a few less in and it would be better for everyone. 9 darter by Hybrechts was a real bonus.... More

Visited when we went to watch Al Murray, venue itself is well organised, im glad the toilets are upstairs now! makes life so much easier and of course you get the 2 pint cups. But the prices are shocking and the queues are always stupidly long! But no more different than any other small venue! Always enjoy coming to the... More
