We travelled all the way from glasgow to wolverhampton to see one of my music heroes - Ryan Adams in the civic hall. What a fantastic venue with great security staff! The stalls area were very hot so could do with some air conditioning. Very enjoyable night, thank you to security staff who looked after me when I became unwell.... More

Went with my family to see Dara O'Briain. He put his heart and soul into his performance and was excellent! However I would never go back to the Civic Hall. It was hot and stuffy with a pervasive smell of popcorn. The seating was cramped and uncomfortable (at one point I bent down to pick up my bag which I... More

This place needs improvement and sprucing up a bit. I go here regularly but the bar staff need to be better, more helpful and competent. Gigs are brilliant here, but thats down to the artists, not this dated and dull looking building.

Spent the evening here watching the Circus of Horrors, lovely setting and building, nice bar areas with plenty to eat and drink, great view of the stage and super comfy seats. Would definitely return again.10 out of 10.

We went to see Circus of horrors and found it very difficult to hear with the poor sound quality. We were a group of six and none of us could hear what anyone was saying it was completely muffled. It's extremely rare these days to visit a venue and it not be possible to purchase food and drinks. They had... More

Went to the Erasure concert last night - excellent performance not only by the band but also the staff. We had a special request on seating and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Friendly bar staff too. All in all, thanks to the band but also the venue, this was a great night!

Great venue, ease to find and park opposite. Good and friendly staff at the entrance and inside. Always a great atmosphere in a lovely sized place to see a gig up close. Balcony seating my favourite but standing is good too. Nice and intimate - well worth booking tickets there.

Typical Civic Hall theatre like many others round the country. A good venue for an excellent concert with Paloma Faith and her superb band and backing singers. A great night out.
