Great venue for live gigs. Small, friendly and safe. Great location, next to some descent bars. Standing and seated options available. The civic always have fantastic shows on.

Have been here a few times now and the venue itself is lovely and a real gem for Wolverhampton...saw a one direction tribute (with my ten year old I must add), Jason Byrnes and erasure and as I said the setting is fab. However my visit this week was tainted by the stroppy staff! My daughter has sung in the... More

We saw "The Manic Street Preachers" here this month. What A Great Band but What a Dire & Dismal Venue Wulfrun Hall is, compared to what we have on our doorstep in Stoke on Trent (The Regent & The Victoria). It was damp, dirty, smelly and utterly unappealing. You were not allowed to take water in and we were stopped... More

Have been to many events here over 40+ yrs & The building is old but that doesn't mean the interior should be decrepit. Some great shows/events/acts perform here but boy does it need some ££ spending on it! Bar: expensive. You can't have drinks in bottles- Some H&S reason about throwing them. Possibly a risk at some concerts but not... More

An awfull hall. It's run down and needs a complete refurbishment or ideally demolishing and a new built. The seating at best is uncomfortable, cramped and basic. Seat layout appalling. It is neither staggard or tierd in any way so viewing of the tatty tired stage is obscured by other customers. They search bags not for weapons or methods of... More

A surprisingly complete and exhilarating evening at Wolverhampton Civic Hall venue to experience Seasick Steve's Tour Final Night. A fabulously triumphant concert performance by an unbelievably talented and charismatic performer and excellent backing band. Having the benefit of balcony seats provided superb intimacy & fine technical sound performance – often missed in the larger national venues. Standing room below in... More

You come here for the music not the bar ... Stunning music venue with good acoustics and you can see the stage from just about anywhere with good access to services. BUT ... the best part of £10 for 2 beers is a little steep.

First time at the civic and would happily return. Just been to 3 nights of shows as part of the Marillion UK Weekend 2015 and liked the venue. Roomy, good sound and not hard to get a good view from pretty much anywhere in the auditorium, which also has a balcony area. Bar and toilet facilities are via a perimeter... More
