Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Bought as a present for my boyfriend who is a keen ale drinker and i went along without much interest in brewery's... However I found it all really interesting! The guide, Alex was really good, engaging, funny and informative. The trip lasted about 1.5 hours, which was the right amount of time. It also ended with... More

We did the tour on Saturday morning. It was well organised and very enjoyable. We were given a coffee to start and then taken on the tour which lasted about one and half hours. We were shown all the different processes of making the beer and our guide had a good sense of humour. It was quite warm going around... More

Visited yesterday 12/09/15 with my son and husband. Although I'm not a beer drinker (guess who was driving..) I thoroughly enjoyed the tour given by Bob, a man who had worked in the brewery from apprentice stage. I found it fascinating seeing the different stages of brewing and the yeasty mounds bubbling away. We were offered non alcoholic drinks when... More

Visited yesterday with father-in-law, had a wonderful time. We found the tour interesting and very informative, with the perfect mix of local history and brewing methods. Staff are so friendly and Bob, our guide and employee of 37 years, did an excellent job of showing us round and keeping everyone in our group interested. We shared our tour with a... More

Having spent all my adult life drinking Bank's beer I thought it was about time I found out how it was made Very interesting tour and well informed guide who had a good sense of humour My wife's a Londoner and had trouble with the local dialect but that just added to the fun Good tour and even better product

Six in our party booked for Friday evening. We were met by Bill and Kelly who welcomed us and gave us an idea of what was about to happen. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the brewery which included the history and the making of their finest beers right from the beginning to the end. Bob was an excellent tour... More

Sorted a brewery tour with work. Fantastic tour put on for us and a great tour guide with vast knowledge and experience. The food was good afterwards and the beer too! You must try the sunbeam!

Having just read the poor review, it actually made me smile. If that guy DID work there he would know that it was Banks's that brought Marstons and not vice verse! What a cracking place to go and visit. An educational and enlightening afternoon with a relaxing couple of beers at the end of the tour. We left there and... More

Took a Friday night brewery tour with the girlfriend and what can I say.....it was very enjoyable! Very informative, little bit of history and of course a free pint and a half in the parlour at the end of the tour. For £8 each it's an ideal way to spend a couple of hours or a gift for an ale... I was unable to get much info about tours from the website, so during a visit to Wolverhampton we decided to go down and enquire in person at the Brewery shop. As luck would have it there was a tour at twelve that had enough space for us. Thanks Danielle for fixing that. With an hour to kill we would... More
