Our visitors can enjoy a superbly compact, reasonably priced, state-of-the-art complex. Bright and bold in design, it embraces excellent front of house facilities and two exceptionally relaxing theatres with flexible performing spaces. The Arena Theatre seats 150 and is brilliantly deceptive – seductively drawing its audiences into a more intimate understanding of the play, surprisingly spacious for dance or ballet, funky and unpretentious for hot music. Quality programming has always been of paramount importance to the Arena Theatre and outstanding professional companies, celebrating drama, dance and music, will continue to dominate throughout any given season. The Arena also showcases work by local schools, colleges, students, amateur companies and community events. « less

Lovely little theatre, great for a family visit, friendly staff with a small but well stocked bar , great location as in the centre of Wolverhampton.

The Arena Theatre is in the centre of Wolverhampton, with the Civic Centre carpark very close to it. They have a wide range of plays, normally with a quite small cast. We thoroughly enjoying going there - very good value for money, and there is a coffee bar which suits me.

What can I say about the Arena, they have all different types of plays that some of the larger theatres don't get, it is a small venue and it makes things feel more intermet,

This is a small studio theatre complex the main theatre holds around 120 but it manages to host a variety of performances from local productions to big names like Steven Berkoff. There is a small bar area and parking is rarely available on street but the council carpark is within 400 metres

I have been many times to this Venue. I generally go once or twice a month. Every time it has delivered first class Theatre. Ticket prices are very reasonable and if you buy two or more shows at a time, they are incredible value. The staff are always friendly, the bar is small but in keeping with the venue and... More

This is a small friendly theatre that has tiered seating round 3 sides of the stage. It is friendly and informal and hosts drama, comedy, music and dance performances. I go many times a year because it is very reasonably priced, you always get a good view and the productions are usually of an extremely high standard. Parking is easy... More
