Nice place for a family day out,and for a picnic. There is a play area for the children. It is a place not just for families. You can walk your dog , go bird watching, it's up to you.

Went here with a few pals a couple of weeks back, haven't been here for a few years before that. Was expecting plenty of open space out the way of kids to mess around with a frisbie and football with. Unfortunately it has been massively built on and kids are everywhere so no relaxing afternoon for us was amased at... More

First of all don't visit Wat Tyler if its a rainy/bitterly windy/blisteringly hot weather. It's very open and exposed and extremes of weather might make it a bit hard going. That is the only negative, its just a fantastic place to go. Free parking. A huge and lively play area that can keep kids entertained for ages. Plenty of picnic... More

This is a lovely country park. With the creek running through the far side where there are many hides where you can watch the birds on the wetlands. There is a marina where people keep their boats and jet skis. The mini train has a terminus at the marina where you can join the train and ride through the park... More

Went yesterday afternoon to meet up with a friend and children. It was packed but having said that it's such a big park there's plenty of space! Well organised car parking and it's free which is a bonus. Kids play area was great and they got their money's worth on the bouncy slide! Dogs on leads are allowed although some... More
