Took my 8 and 10 year old and met their cousins in the cafe. Very busy as half term but got good food and reasonably priced drinks quite quickly. Cafe good the centre offers lots but it was raining 👎 so the children went to the play area excellent equipment. Would like to return in better weather to explore the... More

I have been visiting Wat Tyler for many years now and it's changed in the time I've known it. Fantastic visitor centre with a fantastic cafe serving really nice food, perfect for a post-walk cuppa. The RSPB Centre and the attached gardens are great for those with restricted mobility to enjoy the abundant wildlife. The miniature railway is also a... More

I have visited the park many times and it has improved lots. Excellent playground. Many trails to walk. I understand the park will increase in size when the tip land is handed over. Small train a must for the children. Lots of bird life. I really like the resturant. A bonus is you do not have to pay to park.

Visited here today and haven't been for many years. This is an excellent place for a day out. There is plenty to see, do and experience. There are lots of different trails to explore and the children's park is exceptional. There are lots of different park equipment to try and some are quite innovate. Our 6 year old was thrilled... i visit here every week with my dog. Place is beautiful and acres of land to walk around as well as paths and woods. My dog is unable to be let off the lead in open areas and there are a few fields that cater for this that are fenced off but are big enough to let them have a... More

Large park, plenty of play equipment especially for older or teenagers which makes a change to most parks. Would be a really great park if there was more seating in the play areas so you can keep an eye on the children whilst they play, some of the equipment needs updating, or fixing and the I think the wood chip... There is so much to do for the children...park, train ride, during the spring/summer they have 'go bonkers' bouncy castles, walks. A lovely place for adults to unwind too

Now the old shops have gone to be replaced with a very expensive cafe in the visitor center it is not the same. Not a lot of choice in the way of food.It was great when all the old craft shops were there and a cafe doing a great Sunday lunch for under £5. Sadly the childrens play area disturbs... More

Plenty to see here from birdwatching to nature walks or finding out about the history of the explosives factory! Cafe & Visitor centre are good and there is adequate parking plus lots of space for the grandchildren to run about, play ball and generally burn off excess energy. The only downside is the approach road and the large number of... More
