nice wee find. A bookstore that has some current titles as well as the older ones hence the larger discounted price. Easy parking on site, toilets, small café area. Easily loose an hour in here and would visit again. Need to have a good rake through the titles

We came across this place by chance when we were on holiday. I felt like I'd died and gone to heaven when I saw the stock and prices! Wish I had a place like this near where I live. I'd be a very regular visitor.

We often make a special trip across the peaks to go to this bookshop. Large shop, with disabled access and loo, dog-friendly, sofas, coffee and tea, friendly staff and a wide selection of books at amazing prices. What else could you ask for? I bought lots yesterday that were half the price on Amazon. Best bookshop ever.

A paradise land for any book lover, a huge shop (described as the countrys largest bookshop). It has every genre imaginable, organised through 3 rooms. Every bookshelf holds a new delight - not just the usual titles seen in the high street stores. Really has the feel of an old fashioned book shop. There is a sofa area where you... More

We visited recently while passing on the way back from a weekend away with our giddy cocker spaniel who was very welcome which makes a change to usual shops. Fantastic range of books, stationery and gifts, loads of local interest information, maps and books. The prices are brilliant and the staff are really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is... More

The place is easy to see from the main road, has good parking accommodation. The prices are low and fair. They have a big selection but only from older books. You can't go here and think you find new books. Only books that been longer on the market. I found two books that I wanted, but mostly I read new... More
