A lovely setting, but ruined by the many golfers who effectively took the place over. As paying hotel guests we were made to feel like intruders.

We went to Morgan’s Bistro at St. Pierre with friends some time ago. The dining room is quite formal and is very nice indeed. We were all impressed with our surroundings when we took our seats. So the menu arrived and I chose the Cawl for starters. I was slightly peeved that they called it “Welsh Cawl”. So when it... More

Greens were in good order, as were the tee boxes. Generally a testing course presented in good order

Booked our room way back in February. What I saw on the website did NOT fulfill what we were given on arrival. Website shows a beautiful stylish looking antiquated building. We were accommodated in what can only be described as "Brookside meets The Prisoner meets Butlins" and well away from the 'flagship' images illustrated. Very poor value, even with a... More

My husband and I stayed here whilst attending chepstow race course to see Tom Jones. Hotel is so beautiful. Rooms have amazing views. Husband played the Mathern course on Saturday afternoon and enjoyed. Staff friendly and welcoming. No complaints just wish we could of stayed longer x

Stayed on business initially and then brief holiday. Rooms unexciting but clean and tidy. Expensive bar, but at least trying with a local real ales (at £4.80 per pint!).

My husband played the course twice - once on a lovely sunny day and then the next day in intermittent showers. He enjoyed the course. Not too challenging, but some lovely holes. Bar has a great view that you can see the lake. I can confirm that the golf bar is lovely and the staff are great - even made... More

This is our 5th time now and yet again, an excellent stay. This is our daughters favourite hotel, the staff put her on the VIP list and treated her like royalty wherever she went. We stayed in a junior suite in the courtyard( ground level) only moan was you could hear all the traffic above us. A special thanks to... More

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff, we stayed in a junior suite and the rooms were very spacious! Bathroom was a little tatty but other then that we couldn't complain about the room. We are in zest which was great for lunch. We had dinner in Morgans which was fantastic we had a lovely waitress and the food was 10/10!... More
