Gorgeous grounds and a lovely reception building. Fantastic facillities, but could do with some updating. More

I actually worked here as a student back in the 1970's. Was a family run private club and I have very happy memories of the place. Dinner dances in the ball room (now gone) were a real event, the head wine waiter Max was a real character as was the head waiter Pepi (who is still working, now head waiter... More

Awful food and incredibly over-priced. Beautiful setting let down by poor service and quality. More

The course has improved greatly over the past few years. The greens were good and overall it was a pleasure to play. Cost of drinks is a bit heavy but good local Pubs nearby. More

Great setting very comfortable room’s excellent breakfast & dinner Friendly hotel staff. Even the weather was good for us. The only gripe was the price of a bottle of Pinot Grigio £25 a bottle what a rip off. Old courses the greens are true/undulating & quick, with undulating fairways on a mature parkland course. “Old Course” is walking in history.... More

I have been to two events at this hotel this year, location and rooms are fantastic. The staff have always been very polite and friendly. Then there is the golf - The Old Course is great and suites people of all abilities. We will definately be going back. More

We are not golfers but we have stayed in this hotel many times. Originally stayed here because it was a Marriott. We use it as a stop over from Heathrow to Wales when we go back to the UK. We have stayed in different rooms and have been pleased with them all as each had something different going for it.... More
