We went for afternoon tea on a warm and sunny afternoon so the outside surroundings were glorious. Pretty little church in the grounds. Our afternoon tea was served in a lovely room, our waitress was charming and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The sandwiches and cakes were beautiful, plenty to go round and very filling. The surprise was... More

In over 20 years of golf this has been my worst experience, they heard masses through this course without consideration for the golfers. I had played this course many years ago it was absolutely beautiful but this time it was ragged and worn and when we played at 12pm over 200 had been through the starters hut by then. After... More

We were sorry to hear about your disappointing round of golf with us recently. We do take all feedback most seriously and whilst we pride ourselves in the quality of our courses, it was obviously a concern to read your comments. We do hope that you will be able to reconsider and return to St Pierre again in the future. More

The lakeside cottage was not clean( stains in the carpet) the windows don't open far, the extra pillows were strewn in the closet. The rate exceeds the experience. I have never understood why the more expensive hotels charge extra for wifi and the small mom and pop places provide it free. The Marriott is no exception to that rule. The... More

The hotel is beautiful downstairs. We stayed for 2 nights for my son's wedding. Our room was very tired and needed refurbishing. Much too hot (heating wasn't on)and no air con . Could not ventilate the room as the window opened 1 inch! It is not set up for disabled or pushchairs. The wedding was upstairs, no lift.It was dreadful lifting... More

Attended for a large group dinner and conference. Beautiful place, exceptional staff and attention to detail just the perfection we expected.

This is a great hotel. Brilliant for golf, but we loved the gym/pool. Honeymoon cottage is terrific, to the left of the arch in the picture. Great service from superb staff. Highly recommended. Ideal base for seeing this whole area,

I attended an annual golf day here to be played on the second course (Mathern Course, St.Pierre, Chepstow). It was the most disappointing golf experience of my life. Here is my review. Some weeks before a small group from our club were allowed to go up to St.Pierre to test the course etc. They were actually put out to play... More
